with those kind of numbers I'd be happy too! i'd never do bench press without a spot because it's one exercise I want to go all out with... where was Glex! nicely done with the PR on those dips which are lookin pretty darn huge if i do say so myself. i tore a tendon in my left bi and that took over 5 months to heal... so continue to take it easy until it gets better, and if it aint gettin no better any time soon get it checked it out a'ight! we don't need another string of injuries up in hurr

Tweak - You can't touch my thumbs-up bitch. Although, I looked at it on a PC as opposed to my mac and the screen made me look skinny as hell. Weird. Nonetheless, I own that pose, new camera or not you can't touch it, although you can grow a better beard than me :wtcrun:

TO - Thanks, bro. I was pretty suprised by the PB because I didn't really feel strong at all on my chest movements. Hopefully hitting tris that hard can eventually improve my bench so I'll be pushing three plates like some guy I know :spy:

Hypo - My tris have always been fairly strong, though my biceps are proportionately bigger. Oh well. Thanks for the post :xyxthumbs:

Scoular - LOL, thanks for the kind words on my dissapointing inclines. I've been so focused on improving my flat bench to thicken up my chest that I haven't worried about doing inclines first. Still, I may give it a go next time just to see what I can pull off. Also, thanks for the kind words about my arms (though it's not a great pic) they measure 18 cold :xmaseek3ugh:

Glex - A fag that can beat you up :gaygay:

Mak - Glex was probably out doing something gay like engineering things; he's really holding me back! LOL. Thanks for the advice on the bicep as well, to be honest I ended up taking some time off due to final exams and it feels good to go now. Always glad to see you stop by, thanks again.

FF - Thanks, arms have always been a strongpoint of mine; that's why I only post pics of them :xmasbigok:

BB - Ha, you shake your head as you rep me? Always nice to see you stop in, brother, the bulk actually did go pretty clean so thanks.

UPDATE: You may have found that there's something missing in your life the past week; that something being my log. Well, due to final exams and traveling home, catching up on sleep, and fucking bitches I've missed training for about a week. No need to fret though, I currently am weighing a hair under 220 (which is what I was at last winter) but I'm much leaner. Also, yesterday to maintain mass (though I'll still be eating like I'm bulking) I started doing a push/pull split in my basement. I still pushed myself hard though, almost to the point of being sick. Not really going to post the session, seeing how I plan on getting in a real gym within a week, but rest assured I'm still at it. Thanks guys, and have a great Christmas.

Until next time: God bless us, every one. :xmashsughdunno:

A real gym? What classifies a real gym (please circle);
1) Gym bunnies in spandex
2) Frat boys doing two man bench/deads shouting "Its ALL YOUUU!"
3) Fat guys posing in mirror
4) Soccer mum fixing makeup in between sets in mirror
5) 1 Squat rack
6) Cheap Hammer Strength knock-offs
7) Personal trainers who don't know how to count past 8.

Now ask yourself if you really miss it, and whether you want to get a power rack and a barbell at home.

I don't understand why out of all things to post in my log, you made this post; a bit arrogant, don't you think?

By "real gym" I mean has a Barbell that can hold more than 230 pounds, a stable bench, Dumbbells higher than 20 pounds and a squat rack. I know you train at home and have success with it, and yes, it's commendable that you're willing to do that but why try to knock actual gyms down a notch?

For me, home is home. It's hard to get into the mindset I do in an outside environment. I like the energy of other people in the room and being in a larger space; it's easier for me.

And for the record, my gym at school has no mirrors, actual Hammer Strength equipment, and about 8 squat racks. Even if there are frat guys or trainers that don't know anything present, I still see the place as a greater good than evil.

UPDATE:
Haven't been training all that much because I'm moving furniture every day so I have money for my next semester at college. Work's going pretty well and it's improving my cardiovascular health a bit so all-in-all I don't have too much to complain about. My weight's hovering right around 220+ so I'm pleased with that as well. Basically I plan on getting in a session here or there when I can but mainly focus on making some money and spending time with friends and family.

Thanks to all that commented, it means a lot. I'll be updating regularly once I return to school again on the 15th.

Sorry dude. It was meant to be a joke. Trying to say you wouldn't be missing much at a real gym at this time of year.

It's cool, I've had a tough few days at work so I'm "on edge" a bit more than usual.

And yes, I do miss my college-coeds wearing spandex. Is that a crime? :wtcrun:

Here I am, motherfuckers...thought I was gone, huh?

Well, I'm back at school and getting back into serious training again with Glex. I worked a lot moving furniture over my Christmas Break so didn't have much time to train, although the cardio I got from carrying was certaintly needed.

One thing you may notice, we've changed our split to a modified push/pull. I figured I'd slowly ween myself onto this eventually and the time to complete the transition has finally come. Since I'm new to this split, any advice from guys with experience with it would be helpful. Basically it looks like this...

Day 1 - Chest, Shoulders, Tris
Day 2 - Legs, Back, Bis
Day 3 - Rest
(repeat)

Date: 1.16.06

Time: 10:30 pm

Duration: 1 hr 10 min

Chest
BB Bench Press
Set #1 - 135 pounds x 15 reps
Set #2 - 185 pounds x 8 reps
Set #3 - 225 pounds x 8 reps
Set #4 - 245 pounds x 8 reps
Set #5 - 245 pounds x 6 reps

Incline DB Press
Set #1 - 90 pounds x 8 reps
Set #2 - 90 pounds x 6 reps

Shoulders
Seated BB Military Press
Set #1 - 135 pounds x 10 reps
Set #2 - 165 pounds x 7 reps
Set #3 - 165 pounds x 7 reps

BB Upright Rows
Set #1 - 115 pounds x 8 reps
Set #2 - 135 pounds x 8 reps

BB Shrugs
Set #1 - 225 pounds x 8 reps
Set #2 - 275 pounds x 6 reps

Triceps
Dips
Set #1 - Bodyweight + 45 pounds x 10 reps
Set #2 - BW + 90 pounds x 6 reps
Set #3 - BW + 90 pounds x 6 reps
Set #4 - BW x 14 reps

That's it for now. Felt good to be back. Hopefully my diet will get in order in the next couple of days and my lifts will return to normal. Also, my left elbow has been bothering me (not sure why) so I'm wearing a neoprene sleeve over it for now.

Until next time: hit 'em up :weightlifter:
