Gran Torino, 7.5/10
Not a perfect movie but I enjoyed it immensely. At one point in time I laughed so hard that I spat out my drink, and then I cried like a bitch at the end, while laughing.

The only thing I disliked about this film was that it could have been even better (cliches, some crappy acting, etc). I too was laughing and felt sad (real men don't cry :talkhand:) and felt that the retired tough guys of Clint's career had had a fitting send off.

Ok I cried too :crymeariver:

I'm seeing a press screening of Antichrist today in NYC. I couldn't be more excited.

Angels&Demons - 6/10 - It just didn't strike me as awesome. I was pretty 'meh' when I walked out of the cinema.

Watched the first Harry Potter film last night.

I hope there is more to the books than the film had in terms of plot and character.

I read one of the books, number 5, out of desperation.

The first half was boring as batshit but it did get entertaining towards the end.

I've been catching up on tv shows for the past month and haven't watched a single movie.

Yesterday, I watched a movie from start to finish. That was, The Cable Guy.

I don't know why I chose this movie to watch after my 1 month away from watching movies. It was terrible. I hate Ben Stiller.

^^ Ben Stiller shouldn't be lauded for his movies, he should be strung up by his testicles and made to watch reruns of Ishtar again and again.

Watched The Departed again last night.

Enjoyed it more the second time around. Probably because the performances struck me more and the details I'd missed the first time around I picked up upon more easily.

I recently watched Berlin Alexanderplatz, a 15+ hour epic by German director R.W. Fassbinder. Here are some sumptuous screenshots.

It would have to have been riveting to make it past the first 2hrs.

Watched Bruno yesterday at the pictures.

Funniest film ive ever seen, never laughed so hard in my life and i was crying from it. I give it a 8/10 because theres quite abit of gay stuff in it and that shit gets under my skin.

It's in chapters so I watched it over the course of a week with a handful of other movies mixed in there as well. I've really been spoiling myself lately in terms of watching good movies.
