I saw Sin City two nights ago, very pleased with it. My only complaint was it was almost too long, other then that I really enjoyed it.

reign over me-

it had absolutely no structure....there was no climax, and there was no conclusion. i wont give away the ending in case you still want to see it, but it basically ends the way a 3rd graders story would. it ends "and then he played video games with his friends. the end!" if a little kid wrote it. and it moved VERY slow, it was just day after day of this guy living his life. you find out very little about him or the other characters, which is not good considering it was a 2 hour and 10 minute movie, plenty time for character developement. over all it was slow, there was no suspense, and no basic story, plot, or resolution....it left a lot to be desired. it was o.k. at best.

This is Spinal Tap - quality.

Watched that '3 Extremes' - as I suspected - fucked up to hell. Those jpas know how to make original freaky stories so much better than America could ever pull out of it's re-treading material ass. Watched 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend' too.
I notice that my video shop is doing ex-rentals of Clerks2, Borat and The Guardian. Hopefully Blockbuster will have them in there 3 for £20. My Region 3 copy of The Departed should be arriving any day now. Lovely.

Watched Clerks II last night and thought it was pretty good. Not exactly groundbreaking but a good follow-on from the first one. Not the most amazing of storylines but still an opportunity for gross-out humour which is always good for evening entertainment.
Watched Da Vinci Code after - haven't read the book so enjoyed it. While the film itself may have had it's flaws and the denouement was obvious a mile off it was still good to watch having not read the book to see the research and imagination Dan Brown had made in creating the story.
Was gonna watch Children of Men but Ria wasn't in the mood for it - hopefully tonight.

Evo - with your crass comments you have become film n00b. Now go flay yourself.

You bought The Da Vinci Code and watched it before Children of Men...I wouldn't be so quick to judge Evo.
