None of it was magic and everything from the supposed "death" of Jessica Beil's character to the illusions he performed afterwards were all carefully crafted and are what we're led to believe can be explained via science and trickery. They live happily ever after.

Incredible. Not earth shattering (nor anything as equally pretentious as such...declerations like those make me roll my freaking eyes) but I thoroughly enjoyed virtually every aspect of that film.

10 death row inmates have to fight to the death on a deserted pacific island for thier freedom and a shitload of cash. 9 will die, only 1 will make it off the island while the whole event is being profited from by its live filming across the globe on the internet.

pro's:
story line, plot and script
the characters and thier past history ("man, what the fuck is wrong with you?" "all in a days work lad")
the use of swearing, rape and violence
location of filming
the fighting scenes
how you could have fun guessing who might make it off the island alive

cons:
the ending - and there also may not be a number 2 because of it.
the use of guns
how it was clear who was going to win
stupid tower scene
useless inclusion of wives, The Navy, and FBI

Mygeeto, no offense but The Condemened is one of the worst movies to ever be made. I don't know how you can see anything good about it.

The Condemened is nothing but a American version of Battle Royal.
