I haven't seen that one yet but Studio Ghibli films are great.

I'd get the Japanese version instead of the English one. The voice acting for the English version is terrible at times.

^ I normally watch foreign films in the native language with subtitles - dubbing is always shite.

Hired the Simpsons Movie last night...
What a waste of $5 and my time.

Dont get me wrong it was funny in some parts, but i mean its 20 years in the making.
I was expecting it to be a little longer, have a better story and the rest of Springfield to get the same sized role they are treated to in the series...
Instead of just being background characters and having one line each(if that).

After watching it, i was pissed at the creators.
Matt Groening, who had a chance for immortalitily...sold out!

Its worth watching once, if you get someone to pay for it.
Otherwise, just watch 3 episodes of the tv seires...You'd be better off.

I should have Six String Samurai this week.
Ive never seen it, but it has a fair rating at IMDB.

Trailer

If you have noticed, i have a soft spot for post-apocalyptic movies.

I've actually been meaning to see most of these. Will download Grave of the Fire Flies sometime soon actually. Jackie Brown is easily the most underseen and underrated Tarantino film there is and is, in my opinion, essential viewing. Anyway, here's what my screening log looks like lately...

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Coen, 2000) ****
Away From Her (Polley, 2007) ***1/2
The Passion of Joan of Arc (Dreyer, 1928) ****
Black Book (Verhoeven, 2007) ***1/2
The Lives of Others (von Donnersmarck , 2007) ***
Zoo (Devor, 2007) *1/2
The Fly (Cronenberg, 1986) ***

Bourne Ultimatum was fucking great. The way they kept it movin without relenting the pace or it become numb for nearly 2 hours was great.

300 was ok.

Watched a couple of Japanese horrors too. "Shutter" was pretty good, as was "One Missed Call" - which has being remade with Ed Burns in it :uhoh2:

300 was ok.

Yes i agree, its nothing to get excited about.
Theres only two things keeping it from being crap in my books:
1. Dilios
2. Queen Gorgo's goods :xyxthumbs:

Even with those things, its still a "Meh, Okay".

Meh, ***

It was going very well until the end when it turned into a Signs remake :duh: There was a part about 40 minutes into it that foreshadowed that the message of the movie would be God's plan related.

This is not usually a problem, however the name of the movie is I Am Legend. It's supposed to be about the guy, not God's plan.

Will Smith is fantastic in it, though. Definitely pulls off the one-man show.

SPOILER ALERT: ///////////////////////////////the cure should not have survived///////////////////////////
