well im prolly going to get bashed for this but im watching Half Pat Dead(2002) right now with Steven Seagal. I dont know about yall but i kinda like this movie. I looked on IMDB(the page for this movie) and it has it as a 4/10. I would give it a little higher then that. Then i looked at seen Steven Seagal got nominated for a Razzie Award for worst actor and a loled but i still like the movie.

i watched the first half of Fight Club last night. I was tired so i went to bed but im going to finish watching it tonight. i love that movie it is so good.

i just noticed last night every so often in the movie a man pops up for a spilt second. so i tried to pause it at the exact time to see who it was. it was funny cause i finally paused it right and BAM of course it was Brad Pitt, but does anybody know why they did this?

ive never watched Office Space all the way through just parts of it, but as far as The Office(tv series) i love it. it is sooooo funny IMO. i recommend watching The Office.

REC. This is a spanish movie, however i believe there's an american remake on the making. A somehow original aproach but quite predictable development. I've watched this at home and i think it would be more enjoyable on a cinema screen or at least on a good home setup.

Vicky, cristina, Barcelona. Well, the movie is entertaining but in all honesty if Penélope Cruz has deserved the oscar for this i don't want to watch the rest of the nominees...

Los girasoles ciegos (The Blind sunflowers). Spanish movie. Based on a novel about a comunist/socialist writer who is hidden after spanish civil war (1939) to avoid being killed by the fascist regime. Nicely done, correct/good acting (in fact a secondary actress in this movie has won an spanish award instead of Penelope Cruz, see above) worth watching.

Pause it right at the end of the movie when they flash the "special" object. It will be a nice treat. I think Fincher wanted to be different and added in the little visual randoms and what not. It really just holds your attention and keeps you focused on the film.

yea i already know about the giant cock at the end of the movie but one of my friends told me that the reason that they popped up Brad Pitt or Tyler Durden at the beginning because it was trying to show his split personality before they introduced Tyler Durden into the movie. After Tyler is introduced in the movie it never comes up again.

There is actually quite a few spliced in things throughout FightClub. Mainly TD/Pitt early on in the film and plenty of still porn shots.

I noticed that they often used it just after a poignant piece of the narration. I think this was in order to be the movie of the movie and as such stay true to its material.

Southland Tales - starring Dwayne Johnson, Sean William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Directed/Written by the Donnie Darko D/W.

I don't know why I didn't just stop watching at some point. It was a convoluted mess of a film that at no point stayed on a strong narrative. It was humorous at times and there were some good performances (The Rock actually acting and plenty of cameos), but it really just felt like one big illconcieved mess.

Watching some of the extras I think they tried to do a grandios satire with a sci-fi theme and plot which just didn't work. They didn't think through the aspects they were addressing and actually think what needed to be done to tell the story properly.
