^^ A video of both Phil and Jay training for the O would be cool, but unfortunately because of their Weider/MD contracts that would not be possible I think.

The increase in the amount that the pros are starting to talk about rep speed and emphasis on the muscle, and then their follow through of those ideas into their training has me looking forward to the olympia. If everyone hits conditioning I really can not see how they are going to separate these guys. I mean aesthetics is an option, but you even hear the pros talk about, "well they preferred his shape over mine this show." I am referring to the aesthetic of the top 3-5 guys. Everyone appears to be lifting heavy. Everyone appears to be more focused than ever. This show should be great. I hope everyone hits conditioning. I think we are going to see some of the best physiques body buidling has ever witnessed historically on the olympia stage this year.

This usually indicates you are ready... and Jay never had these before... also the fact that he is squating three and a half plates this close to the O deserve kudos too... I hope he wins and retires this year! :hsughr:

I hope he doesn't retire yet. Now once he has found what really works for him I hope he goes on for atleast a year or two

I am a huge fan of kai but i am not a big fan of his lifting technique concerning repetition range and repetition speed. Jays form is much more controlled. I would think kai would be more mindful of his rep range, but maybe he is on a level i cant understand.

Yea i said it, lol.

I still want kai to take home the sandow.

I'm not a big fan of Oscar helping him with every rep.

Or of Jay throwing the barbell he used for lunges when he clearly had the strength to lower it to the ground.

Oh well.
