They just had something on MSNBC about Ron Paul, talking about how he raised $5,000,000.

I love how they start off every interview/article about Ron Paul with "He's low in the polls but..."

Those polls are impossible to win when they don't even mention your name.

the scariest thing is that all these news shows are saying that Giuliani is the Republican front runner, and he would have a good chance of beating Clintion. :uhoh2:

I know alot of these polls are bullshit, but it's really scary to think that people would vote Rudy Giuliani for president....We'd be better off with four more years of Bush....seriously.

Ron Paul was just on CNN. (The Situation Room) Wolf Blitzer is a douchebag, but Paul held his own.

on CNN when Ron Paul was on, they showed their "Poll of Polls" and it said Paul was in last place in the republican party with 2% nationwide. (tied with people like Sam Brownback). How is that possible? I think the majority of these polls shown on TV are completely made up.

That poll was from May before anyone knew who Ron Paul was. They phoned a thousand Republicans' houses that voted last year and asked would they like to vote for Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, or other? Then once you say other, you have to name who you choose.

-Things wrong about using this poll-

1.) It is impossible for someone that doesn't even get a name mention to dominate the poll.
2.) The poll was half a year ago.
3.) Many Ron Paul fans are Democrats and didn't vote for a Republican last year.
4.) Majority of Ron Paul fans are young (because older people use the internet less) so they are less likely to be sitting around their house, answering the home phone. Ages 22-35 normally use cell phones. Thus, Rudy Giuliani gets more votes since the elderly normally get their news from FoxNews and other garbage.
5.) Many Ron Paul followers didn't vote last year.

I could go on and on, but I made my point. The point is, these networks will use whatever poll they can to make Ron look like shit compared to the other canidates.

I'm not just paranoid, back in the early 1900's socialists came close to winning presidential elections, so the CFR and other departments came about to prevent anyone from taking the presidency outside of the Democrats and Republicans. What's scary is how "traditional republicans" (Ron Paul) don't exist anymore, since the Republican party has been takin over by the old school Democrats (neo-cons). These two parties are exactly alike, most Democrats are faking their arguments against the war in Iraq. What will probably happen is the Democrats will win the presidency, and won't send our troops out for at least a few years at the minimum. Just look at Obama, against the Iraq war but for a war against Iran. All because idiots think puting the Democrats in the white house will be a big change for America, fuck yeah...right.

Flex, are you a Political Science major?

If Ron Paul has raised that much then I'm sure he's doing much better in the polls than what the media is saying.

I have taken quite a few classes and the big thing with polls that I learned with every class is that there are tons of polls. THe new channel will continue to make different polls until they get the results they want. It pisses me off and I learned this directly from my Professor who used to be in charge of it for NBC and CBS. Pisses me off...

OH a question for all you Ron Paul followers, is he for real? When I say that, what I mean is does he really mean what he says? Everything he says is great and I like the way he thinks but when Bush first ran I kinda liked his "Ideas" but that turned to shit real quick. I just haven't had time to really sit down and research Ron Paul, but everything I have heard it really good, that makes me think its too good to be true.

Yes, he's for real. He's been referred to by congress as "Dr. No" for a few decades. He's had the same policies since the 1970's. Did you see this video that IronSlave posted earlier in this thread?

Ron Paul is real. Hillary is fake. Ron voted against the war, she voted for it and is claiming that she was "tricked" by George Bush. Great president she would make if she can get tricked by that idiot.

Actually, I'm an Exercise Science major. Politics just interest me, especially now that Ron is running. This will be the first time I vote.

Anyone considering voting for Paul needs to switch parties as soon as possible. I know in Pennsylvania the deadline was changed to a few days from now, so make sure you do that ASAP.

I'm glad Ron was able to sneak in how biased the polls are by saying "sometimes they don't even mention my name." Once again, Ron is asked "who he would vote for without the Republican nomination," which is unnecessary.

He had a quick interview on Good Morning America today. It was a decent interview. No jabs at him.

a little offtopic, but since Kansas doesn't have Presidential primary elections....does that mean that there's a good chance I won't get to vote for Ron Paul, at all?

enlighten me on how our country handles this election stuff.
