allstar: what am I a chef? :bowroflarms: Nah I eat pretty decent food, but my snacks are a bit too much sugar, but haven't kept a food log in a fair while. I'm not naturally a big guy so as a result don't have to really think about keeping lean, rather concentrate on getting enough calories. Plus I've never wanted to be that big, this is about as big as I've ever been.

tkD: I reckon it was the changing of the guard at the Olympia. It's motivated us all to lift! I'm actually surprised that I'm not a bit stiff today.

Thanks rageking!!

I was so pumped after I did it. But I wanted to be able to add another 5kg to see what my real max was.

Thanks Pickle!

I'd say the postage will kill us! I think I need some bumper plates anyway!
Plan on lowering the pin height to gradually get that off the floor, like I did last time I did rack deads

epic. I cant wait till you do it from the floor. I was just thinking i dont need my plates anyway since i dont exceed one plate a side for anything :p So you may as well have them j/k

Philo: Gotta maintain the rage :xyxthumbs:

PrinceVegeta: Thanks man! I think the fact that the grip wasn't an issue and I had more in me (just no room on the bar) I think I should be able to make more progress than I'd planned. Either way my mindset and goal has changed, so the body will follow :coolguy:

Lifted properly this evening, but it wasn't what I was hoping. The reps just weren't happening so I just kept doing doubles on the main exercises. I think I'm going to have to change my lifting style for a bit, mental burnout on this current upper body program (except chinups it has all been grinding to a halt). Seeing Tunen & Co's efforts I'm liking the idea of ME and DE days.

Skeptic: Are you saying that you don't like "playmate of the year" by Zebrahead?!?!? Although I haven't liked any of their more recent stuff since the old vocalist left.

El Freako: It means I have a 1.5xBW bench, which is fine considering I was a bit down. Although I am toying with the idea of dropping benching (possibly pressing in general) for a couple of months. My shoulders are starting to get issues again (different to previously, which means they are probably a bit overtrained).

And the leg training last night. It was cold and I lacked energy. Apparently when I write up and distribute research and information people like to either steal it or get the conclusions blatantly wrong. So this workout is dedicated to the JornT's of the world: fuck you all!

Oh and I took some pics while I was working out.

Hang Snatch

60kg
70kg
70kg
75kg

57kg x10 +10 on two legs
57kg x10 +12 on two legs

Power clean + Front squat

I always wanted to ask this; how's working out outside? I'm sure it's great when the sun's perfect and brings those capillaries and veins out. I'm coming over sometime, cool? Nice workouts also, solid session.

Creator: Thanks dude! I don't write it as such but I actually move between two exercises (except snatches or deadlifts) in all my workouts. So in this one I was doing SLDL and donkey calves back to back. Plus by doing dnokey calves I don't place the grip or low back loading on in between, gotta get the right pairings.

KM: Working out outside is a rollercoaster. On the good weather days you'd never want to train anywhere else. If it's hot or cold or rainy your performance suffers a lot. I'm actually planning to do short sessions (probably a split) with one exercise plus 1-2 accessories over summer as last year I was dehydrating and just couldn't recover after some sessions. And I welcome visitors :tiphat: PM your facebook ID. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&q=merredin W.a.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl
