Dennis James says Ramy was on point and that he took these pictures December 11th at 8.25am empty stomach after cardio

His quads don't look as good as 2020, his triceps are pretty atrophied as well, he doesn't have the roundness in his arms like before, and his back is like last year if not worse.

Dennis James is pretty delusional and he was hyping up this Olympia like crazy.
I still think that Ramy 2014-2016 was at his best, except maybe conditioning.


I also think that his 5th place was a punishment kinda for the way he acted back in April/May 2022 when he did not come to the Pittsburgh show to guest pose, and nobody knew anything from him for a few weeks after.

That was very unprofessional and the IFBB does not like that.

The most striking, and to me incomprehensible phenomenon, is lower back condition of Olympians from the 1980's and the 2022 Olympians. Even @hadi_choopan who was in phenomenal and best condition of all didn't have a hard lower back. Left pic me at the @mrolympiallc 1988 where I placed third. (Right pic is NOT Hadi). It's not being negative but an observation I don't understand. #mrolympia

^^ The comparison is not fair imo.

Berry was doing that pose on purpose, while on the right you have Akim Williams with probably some of the worse back genetics and super high lats while doing a back double biceps.

I do agree however that the Christmas trees are not that present nowadays.

Since the long weekend is over, I have time to sit down and think about the Olympia in Vegas. I can honestly say I don’t know what happened and I really don’t want to speculate. What I can say is that Ramy was right on point throughout the time he was here in Arizona. I took pictures twice a day and not once was I worried about him not being at his best. I know Ramy worked extremely hard this year and I know the goal was to come in at his all time best. I’m sure Ramy and his coach Chad will address whatever it was that maybe went not as planned. Champ keep your head up, cause you been there before and always came back stronger!

‘Here's something interesting to see. This is a comparison of Dorian Yates when he won the Mr. Olympia in 1992 and next to him is Hadi Choopin who just won the Mr. Olympia. As you see over 30 years ago guys were much harder than today.
I did feel from the Front Hadi had great conditioning. Better then all the other contestants. But back wise Derek was better. This was sent to me by a former Olympia competitor in the late 80's and early 90's. What do you guys think?’

Hadi's back looked indeed soft and puffy, but then again most have this conditioning these days: striated glutes and hams, quads, but then they may lack the overall back conditioning, some delt and chest striations etc.
