Great strength on the bench press man and those inc db for those amount of reps :2: and damn huge rows!

Strong benching there mate - and the deadlifts you did last session was just brutal! I like how you added a bunch of volume to the 5/3/1-protocol - just my kinda thinking :D And hey - you get stronger and bigger this way so it doesn't seem to interfere with the fundamentals in the protocol :)

Natzo: lol, natzo, u gotta stop worrying about what other people lift. im serious. its not important, as long as u progress. one really cant do anything about anyone else, but u can focus on ur own progress. there will always be guys tons stronger than any of us here, and while friendly competition is good, if u get hung up in it and it becomes detrimental to ur own training, then u have a problem. ur training has been going well from what i can see:2:

Philosopher: ye i was pleased with the rows, but to be honest i was actualyl hoping for 7 reps with 120 kg in the bench, considering i did 112.5 kg for 9 reps. the 7.5 kg made a bigger difference than i thought. but hey, i definetely beat the rep goal, so cant complain:)


5/3/1: Cycle 3: Week 3: Day 4:

Front squats:

3 warmup sets

107.5kgx5
120kgx3
132.5kgx3 oh ye! getting better!

Olympic squats: (high bar, narrow foot stance)

120kgx21 fuck, last 3 reps were pure will power, could prolly have done more, but the pain was unbearable)
120kgx11
120kgx11

Leg extensions:

2 sets of 15-20 reps

Lying leg curls:

3 sets of 6-8 reps

Single leg jump:

3 sets of 30-40 reps ( calves were murdered afterwards)

Situps SS with the plank:

2 sets of 50 reps, supersetted with 1 minute each of the plank



Todays session was awesome. had an incredible pump in my whole lower body, and on top of that i had absolutely no lower back cramps or even the slightest bit of pain in my lower back. felt like i mastered the squats so much better, in the sense that all the tension went to my legs and nothing to my lower back.

a good way to finish the last week before the deload starts. keep following my 5/3/1 journey guys:2: have a good weekend everyone:2:

Finngasolin: hey man! welcome to my log, thanks for stopping by;) as for calories. here is what ive been eating so far today:

meal 1: oatmeal and protein shake, orange juice and coffee
meal 2: half a pizza, 2 slices of bread and a can of tuna
meal 3: a banana and coffee (pre workout)
mass gainer shake(500 cals post workout)
meal 4: red meat, 3 potatoes
meal 5: a can of tuna and 4 grilled cheese sandwiches
meal 6: a can of tuna and a bowl of oatmeal and orange juice

last meal for today will prolly be a box of cottage cheese:) id say im around 4000 + calories a day:)
