tKD: yes, deads and bent over rows will be increased next time trust me on that:) its just after being away from it for 2 weeks, i was kinda unsure where my strenght was, and i prefer to judge conservatively;) heavier deads and bb rows next week:)

the KM: thanks heaps bro:) yeah, as my knowledgeable friend lance is saying, positive failure is going until i cant do another rep on my own.

Lance: as always great to see u in my log buddy, appreciate the support from you bro:) so far i like the new program, u were right, i have been underestimating the importance of recovery. before i would be dragging to the gym, never recovered from the previous workout, but now i feel ready everyday, im not exhausted after my workouts, i just feel like i have worked the muscle effectively. so far it feels good, yet to see how the low reps is gonna work for hypertrophy though.

Max ot: thanks for checking in bro, ye, i dont think i have ever been this sore, today is thursday and im still sore from mondays chest workout lol. and ye i am following the program to a t, the only thing i do different is im gonna add one set of leg extensions with alittle higher reps, i have to have that, my legs dont grow with only low reps. i dont know about amazing gains, but i sure wouldnt mind:)

lion: thanks bro:D haha, ye the dips were dissapointing to me, because before the layoff i was doing 40 kg in the belt for the same amount of reps. thats what u get for taking time off lol. it also had something to do with my triceps being totally exhausted from the presses, unlike many others i lock completely out on every rep for benching and inclines.

close grip benchpress: (alot narrower grip than normal, almost thumbs touching, made it harder for sure)

i know you're gonna increase the weights for the next time, first time was just for trying how it works, and you did a good job on that, shoulders and arms sessions were great too, looks like you're on track, and this max ot is gonna work nice for you, good job bro :2:

Nice weight on the presses but I don' recommend doing them with such a close grip, its not that great for your wrists.

I've read an article on this somewhere, I'll hunt it down for you later tonight.

Those workouts are awesome buddy :) I'm loving the time your spending in the gym lol @ 25 mins Awesome military presses and how do you like them standing?

Your arm workout was supreme man, heavy CGP and heavy skull crushers! and not to mention your bicep work, really heavy. Great job my friend :2:

Have you took any recent pics? If so get em up, because it'll give us a view on what yoou look like before the program really begins and then take some more shots say 2 months down the line, to see your improvements. And obv i wanna see how you compare to me, gotta keep up with you bro! :D

Just leave them at just inside shoulder-width and you should be fine. :xyxthumbs:

Lance: thanks for all the love bro:D i dunno about pics, i may take some soon, but i think ill rather just do 2 months of max ot and then take pics, i have a pretty good idea of how i look right now. im sitting at 87,5 kg morning weight, abs are still fully on display although abit less pronounced. would say im at around10-12% bf so im pretty happy with how the bulk is going so far.

el freako: ill do that bud;)

MAX OT:WEEK ONE: DAY 5: LEGS!!!

ok today was the last day of my first max ot week, and it was legs on the schedule. my last leg workout was more than 3 weeks ago, so i played it safe weight wise, still this was a great workout, and im gonna be sore tomorrow:ugh:

Squats ATG:

3 warmup sets

125kgx6
125kgx6
125kgx4, on this set i lost balance when taking the bar off the rack, i spent like 30 seconds getting in position, and by the time i started squatting i was drained, fucking annoying, and i can gurantee it wont happend next time.

barbell hack squats:

1 warmup set

90kgx6:ugh: this felt awesome, quads were pumped to hell already, i could definetely feel it was 3 weeks ago since training legs:49:

leg extensions:

1 warmup set

45kgx6--->bodyweight squatsx35:ugh:

lying leg curls:

1 warmup set

40kgx6
40kgx6

stiff leg deadlifts:

1 warmup set

110kgx4
110kgx5

did 2 sets of machine crunches for abs and got down in the locker room and flushed down 100 g of white bread with a protein shake and some bcaa's

that concludes the first week of max ot, loving it so far, now im gonna rest up and eat through the weekend, watch jay win his 3rd O:keke:, and then hit chest again on monday, until then gents:xyxthumbs:

Nice stats still man, pretty heavy and your abs are still on display, nice job my man!

Heavy squats man, ATG- 125kg killer! And i know how annoying tht is, ive done it before and i just lost concentration in my set, and thats not what you want to do considering you've got bar bending weight on ya back.

Heavy hacks, leg extensions and stiffies man :2: You'll have serious DOMS :49:

Glad your loving the program man, and if youre not progressing in a couple of weeks or more which i assume will be the low reps, just up them to about 8-10 whilst keeping the low volume approach. Low volume is the way to go man! nice week in the gym pal :2:

today was chest, was there early, and there was noone but me in the weight room so i couldnt get a spot on the bench. still a good workout overall.
