Tim - I'm new to the exercise, but I do try to. I do tend to twist sometimes when I struggle though.

Meh. Cable preachers are still preachers; plus, it's the deep burn...oh, it's so deep...

Cable work is excellent for its constant tension; always kicks my butt fairly well. Good call on those alternating presses as well, Chesti. Variety is always important for improvement.

Oh, and you're a jerk for hitting 500cals in 15min:tear:

Bulking dude, I'm at about 240lbs (109kg) now try to get to about 264lbs (120kg)

Anyway, chest/cardio today. We got new machines in the gym today to, I nearly blew my load when I saw them, but my hardon quickly went down when I realised the chest press and row is pin loaded and only goes to 200lbs :no:

lol what a dumbass trainer.

looks like that heavy set w/ the 80s really took it out of you. it was a good idea to follow that up with the seated chest press which is a less taxing movement.

Since we've got the new machines, there's so many people doing stuff wrong and also people doing piss ant weights. The douche trainer tells like every single person who comes in about the new equipment to. Also I think a 12 year old could get the stack on the seated chest press for 10 easily, yet 40 or so year olds will only do half the stack, you can't even tell which part of the movement is the negative :no:

This pisses Nutty off to, there's a big dude who goes in there, no real definiton but big upper body (Can't comment on the legs because I've never seen them, probably tampon strings) and ALL he does is arms, that's it. I see him in there probably 3 or 4 times a week and it's arms every single fucking time, total douche. He stood there talking to some chick the whole time I was doing leg presses :no:

Ok last one is this chick comes into the weight room, and loads a 20 kg plate on each side on the bench. She looked like she could maybe lift weight, so I thought "Hmm, I might watch this." The douche trainer comes over and says to her, "Oh you won't be able to lift that, try 5kgs a side." :49: For some reason she listens to him, and she says straight away that it's to light so he puts like another 2.5kgs on a side. She was only doing like half reps, and he says it was fine and walks off :gtfoslap: She was decent looking so when she was done I walked up to her and explained that she should be going all the way down instead of doing the half reps, she thanked me and I added, 'I personally think you could of done the 20kgs a side for reps anyway." She giggled :gaygay: and I walked off.

I usually bring the stack all the way to the top but still keep the tension on...i.e. almost make the plates touch each other.
