Dave is a 21 year old Natural Pro bodybuilder, having a guy of his status as a sponsored athlete would be incredible marketing for them.

"David Turk (born 1987) is a professional NGA natural bodybuilder from Pittsburgh, Pa. Turk, an open homosexual, began bodybuilding under the tutelage of his partner Joseph (aka. "Flex) in 2006. The two met in the sauna of the gym at Slippery Rock University (where both were students) one afternoon, and Joseph immediately recognized the potential that David's physique had.

Turk first competed in the 2008 Mr. Slippery Rock university show where he won first place in the heavyweight division, though finished second to a controversial decision in the Overall division. Not to be deterred, Turk trained for a year and again competed in the 2009 Mr. Slippery Rock, again winning the Heavyweight division and the Overall division as well.[1] Turk followed this up with an impressive performance one week later at the NPC (National Physique Committee) Natural Ohio Championships, winning the Junior division and again coming second place in a controversial loss in the light-heavyweight division by a single point.[2] Nevertheless, Turk's impressive showing was highlighted by coverage on the Muscular Development website.

2 weeks later, Turk earned his Natural Professional Bodybuilding Pro Card by winning the Heavyweight and Overall classes in the NGA Natural Pittsburgh, despite being only 21 years old.[3]

Turk's childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon and luge lessons. In the spring, he'd make meat helmets. When he was insolent he was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds — pretty standard, really. At the age of 12, he received his first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Vilmer ritualistically shaved his testicles.[4] He is presently a student at Slippery Rock University.

Turk is also an avid poster on the popular bodybuilding and softcore pornographic site Musclemecca, where he is a 'respected member'."

Since I don't have an active log I figured I'd just make a thread......... I'm going to give a bunch of my lifts as of recent, my strength has been progressing very well!

BB flat bench: 365 x 2-3
BB incline: 295 x 4
DB incline: 145's x 5

BB Rows: 405 x 4-5
BB DL (No straps and from the floor): 495 x 6
T-bar rows: 9plts x 8

BB Military: 265 x 3-4
DB Military: 130's x 2-3

BB squats: 565 x 4-5 (wide stance, decent depth 80% as i'm told)
Close stance leg press: 25plts x 5-6

Stiff-legged DL: 365 x 6 (standing on a box, slow reps down to the floor and slow back up focusing on hams rather than lower back)

BB close grip bench: 325 x 4
BB reverse grip bench: 315 x 4

Thats about good! haha

Anyways offseason is gonig very well right now my calories are right at 4,000 calories and my weight is up to around 230-232lbs after 1 food meal and pre-workout shake.

Very happy with my progress at this point, especially considering that I started my diet for my shows this year at 238lbs/4,800 calories if not more and I was eating my brains out and basically was maxed out on food.
So far this offseason I'm already around 230lbs/4,000 calories and I still physically have the capability to eat more when necessary.

Holy Crap. Those are some very impressive poundages Turk, especially the rows (I hit 315 for 6 the other day and thought that was big). Keep up the excellent work man. You are a continuing source of inspiration.

don't worry my knee as of recent has actually been doing very well due to sum prep b4 leg day and I plan on trying to work on depth soon. The plan was to take a month off of back squats and then afterwards work on depth........but if my knee keeps feeling as it had i may wait!
My depth now isn't bad I know that it is a lot better than it was in the past becuz now my knee can actually take more depth whereas b4 I had to stop b4 my knee would pop so that i wouldnt' feel an immense amount of pain. :bitelip: Don't worry whenever I do my hack squats i go ATG becuz it just doesn't bother my knee the same
