This is going to be too much freaking info(funny how slackers like me say that...), so I'll limit it to what I was stoked about for each workout. This also showcases the fact that I didn't train hamstrings last week; there goes my self-denial:duh:

Chest-Pffft, nuthin there. Just business as usual; I was a little weaker in my incline presses as a result of hitting my declines first. 315X8 on those though:e5dunno: Edit-Wait, I set a new PB of 130 for nine reps for dumbell pullovers though:hsughr:

Shoulders- Had a very satisfying PB of 385 on the Cybex shoulder press for six reps:hsughr:

Back- Put 515 up three times on deads; I was aiming for reps at da 500 club line, and I was happy to have them:) 250X18 on Lat Pulldowns was a new PB as well, as far as reps were concerned:hsughr:

Forearms- I'm just happy to not screw up my forearms with these, although I did hit the 30-rep range with 150 on my standing flexor curls:hsughr: I'd also be happy to not have arms as long as Kong's, but nothing's going to change that crappy fact:tear:

Traps- Didn't drop anything on my walking platforms; happy enough for that:e5dunno:

Quads- Had some pretty brutal drops on leg presses; went from 990 down to 360, 90lbs at a time:ughnoes: I did hit a new PB of 315 of Barbell Hacks for five reps though:hsughr:

Calves- See the above reference to Kong, and apply that to my calves as well:disgust: I've had to work really hard to make sure they don't lag, and they're coming along well enough; Dorian calves just aren't going to happen at 6'4".

Bi's and Tris- Kong reference #3:xmasslap: My bi's are coming along, albeit slowly. Upward and onward though; "what we achieve too easily, we esteem too lightly." My tri's are very solid from the side, but I feel I need more hanging mass for my front double bi. I did hit standing/bent two arm dumbell kickbacks though, and I freaking loved them. Thank you Phil Heath!(but not Flex---going up to 6.99......screw that:disgust: )

MMA training has me down to 275, a 6lb loss from when I began serious prep. My footwork has improved, and I'm learning new things every time I train. Who could ask for more?

Nice to hear from you again, Good workouts though all around, strong as always, and retaining that stength as you drop wait in preperation for MMA is impressive as well. Hard work and dedication defines you. GL with that fight, improving speed and footwork, keep up the good work dude

Dobbs- Thank you for always supporting me in my semi-neglected log:) The great thing about making weight in my division is that it runs from 205-265; all I'm losing is fat, and it feels great.

I just finished catching up(mostly) in all of your logs, so I'll toss my back/calves/forearms from today in tomorrow. There are a few PB's I'm really happy about, none of which would have been possible without the support I receive from the Mecca. Until then:)

Hypo- Thank you:D Keeping pace with those around me here has definitely made me break a number of barriers in my training; as always, I'm really grateful for that.

Morning's a little crimped, so I'll get my back/etc session in tonight. Today's training will definitely be Chest/Hamstrings, and either shoulders/traps or biceps/triceps along with 'em.

Edit-I'll also toss in a 'n00bs of the week' section too, as there have been a number of funny experiences while my log was sorely abandoned by da lug named me.

^^Will do, Rocky. Last week was killed with SWAT-option training; due to the fact that most cities south of Salt Lake don't maintain said specialist division very heavily, all officers are given the option to learn a bit of the procedure. It was enjoyable, but extremely time consuming.

So that was that. My deads were quite personally satisfying, and everything felt right in place too.

MMA Training-1.5 hours
-60 minutes groundwork(takedowns and clinch work; submissions from the guard and general rolling as well-freaking exhausting)
-30 min Ironman(Basically a straight MMA match structured like a title fight with five five minute rounds. One minute between each, and a new partner for every round. They stay fresh, and my endurance is really pushed. Excellent way to break the mentality that's associated with gassing)

n00b stories will be in a larger post a bit later on; I'd like to get this next session up, and I'm getting a little tired.

Glex- Thank you:) I shouldn't have fallen behind in the first place:no: There are a lot of others who are much tougher in their personal lives than I am though; military service > me, 'nuff said. No MMA this evening though on account of UFC 70; Viva Bisping!!!

Tim- :49::bowroflarms: :49: I've actually found that bent dual kickbacks like those kick the crap out of the lateral heads of my triceps. It's a de-ego lift, but I love it all the same.

A strictly n00bs post will likely be up tomorrow, and today's training will likely be at home; shoulders and biceps. Thanks again to you all for your support in my log:)

Shit i missed a few workouts of yours, Nice job with chest, Heavy ass benching all throughout the workout. Congrats on pb on decline. Those sldl are amazing thats a hell of a lot of weight to be doing with those. Pumped out some good sets with tris as well, Keep working hard.

Life just hasn't been letting up much, but I need to make the time. You all keep me breaking barriers in my training, and I apologize as I feel my recent lags have conveyed a sense of unappreciation for that. Edit-MMA is going well too. I'm not comfortable with my endurance at this point, but that's the whole point of training. I'm hungrier to improve for this fight than I have been for any of my past events; the possibility of training with Jeremy Horn really has me wanting to bring in a new a-game. A lug like me definitely needs all the improvement he can get anyway.
