Fucking hell that leg work is unreal!
The leg presses are simply outstanding!
If I could press half that I'd be happy! Awesome.

holy hell Eric that leg session was....was... :eek4:

I don't even know words to describe the amount of effort shown throughout that entire session.

I think I'll go sit down now, that may have been too much :eek4:

I'm sorry everyone; sporadic as usual here:weaksuace:

Glex- Bah:angrydude::duh: That's what I get for being grammatical in the world of physics..............yeah, pretty much all science frightens me:tear:

Bulkboy- Thank you:) Consistency is the key though; now I just need to apply that better to my activity on the Mecca.

Turkish- Thank you for hitting my log:D

Dstan- Thank you:) I've just found when I started checking my ego at the door and focused on quality reps, the numbers just became a by-product of said ethic. Since the rest of you likely had realized that far before I did, I still have a lot of catching up to do.

Rocky- You have a huge amount of training marks to be happy with, ya humble brit. Your hamstring strength is immense; I need to catch up with you there for sure.

Tweak- Same feeling I get after reading about your
near-criminal cardio sessions:ughnoes:......:2:

I have a number of sessions to post up here, but as usual, I'll have to toss them in later. Shoulders, traps, calves, quads, back, chest....a decent amount of procrastination:duh:

Peanut- Jep. The dumbbell in his right hand caused him to literally launch himself off the side of the bench. Dangerous stuff:ughnoes:

Chesti- Incoming:zangief:

Rage- I don't think I'm really there at this point; now it's time to polish up my rep cap and get stronger with what I have.

Alrighty, I'll start with my shoulder/trap,calves session from last week.

Shoulders

Cybex Plate Loaded Press

225X15(warmup)
315X15
365X10
375X9

Standing Dumbbell Side Laterals

40X15(warmup)
50X12
55X9
60X8

Standing Bent Rear Laterals

75X12
80X13
85X10
100X10(PB :hsughr:)

Traps

Dumbbell Shrugs

130X15(working warmup)
140X12
150X13
160X10

Calves

90X15(warmup)
135X15
180X15
225X16
270X16

All in all, I felt this was a decent session. My shoulder strength wasn't quite where I would've liked it for my presses, but I was doing this at 6am with one hour of sleep; I actually only had that much for a 40-hour span during that part of the week. I was going to do triceps, but I just wasn't feeling it. Oh well, upward and onward.

Teh Quads and Chest; I really enjoyed pairing these, but I did notice a decrease in my general strength for chest as a result of it following my stinking trunks.

Quads

Leg Press

660X15(warmup)
1020X15
1200X12
1290X10
1380X9(PB on reps:hsughr:)-my last PB on these was actually 1390....yeah, I can't count:tear:

Hack Squats(Machine)-These felt amazingly good. Not big weight, but I really felt the seperation in da reps. I was more strict in my form this time than I remember being in the past, so I know that made a difference. Looks like I need to check my dumb lug reflex more ofter:duh:

225X15(warmup)
315X15
405X15
495X12

Quad Extensions Superset w/Single Leg Extensions

170X15/70X12(warmups)
250X15/110X10
290X12/130X7(PB on the Singles:hsughr:)

Chest

Incline Dumbbell Press(The dumbbells at this gym are a little random; the higher pairs have either one broken, or some n00b has dropped one behind the rack:no:)

75X15(warmup)
115X10
115X8
125X6

Hammer-strength Seated Front Press/Wide Chest

225X15(warmup)
315X15
365X11
405X9(PB on reps...I think:dunnodude:)

Decline Barbell Press(Really wanted to seal in a pump with these; my strength was down the toilet at this point)

225X15
225X10
225X9

So it was a bread and butter kind of day with these. My chest workout was short but sweet, and the press-no-flye approach felt really good. Presses themselves are still an area I feel I need to improve on, so I look forward to focusing on basics-oriented workouts like these for da pecs every now and again. Quads felt excellent, and they were decently crispy for a couple of days after without cramping up. As always, thank you for all of your support here in my log:)

Alright, here's my workout from yesterday. I feel it was a heck of a way to start the week, and I really look forward to capitalizing on the tone it set for the next few days. Needless to say, it was extremely satisfying on a personal level; I hope my work reflects that.

Back

Barbell Rows

185X15(working warmup)
275X12
315X9(My grip is going again:disgust:Need to work on that)

Deads......:hyperguy:Now I've been off of these for nearly a month-plus, so I was worried about how I'd do. I'm grateful that I was able to hold my own here with the rest of you:2:

225X10(warmup)
315X10
405X6
515X3
545X1
585X1.....WOOOOOOOOOT!!! PB:hsughr:
600 Club, here I come:zangief:....or I'll throw something out. Ya know, either way:dunnodude:

Standing One Arm Dumbbell Rows(same reps each side, as usual; lame cap weight[150] at this gym, as usual)

110X15
140X15
150X15

Seated Wide Grip Cable Rows

180X15
225X15
270X11(PB :hsughr:)

Calves

Donkey Calf Raises

200X15(warmup)
400X15
400X16
400X16

Seated Leg Press Calf Raises

300X15(warmup)
405X15
405X15
405X16

And.....
The n00b of the Day

-Today's n00b is a repeat offender. Jep......it's me:duh: So's I was at's work, and I'd just wrapped up my shift. I'm in the department's locker room, and a thought creeped its way through the dusty innards of my gigantic cranium; "Hey, I forgot to do pullups today." So what's my solution? I grab an overhead water line that seemed capable of supporting my semi-prodigious lug mass(271 right now) and pounded out four sets of pullups.

BW Chins
MeX8
MeX7
MeX9
MeX10(PB :hsughr:)

Yippie for the PB, but it's likely countered by the fact that I probably looked like a crazy person. If(and likely when) the department's shrink comes knocking, I'll try to act surprised:xmascrunk:

BulkBoy- Thank you:) I haven't done dumbbell presses enough for chest lately; I look forward to changing that.

Rageking- Thank you very much:D Powerlifters....and about 100,000,000 other people.....would smoke my deads like a cheap blunt, but I've been happy with my progress up to this point.

This is a log that ull always see big numbers in, in every workout. AMazing job. Your deads have sky rocketed over the last few months. 600's right around the corner, BB rows are great too, grips a problem for me on them too usually, i dont really like using wrist straps but bb rows imo are the exception. Nice pullups too, made good use of those water lines. I used to do shit similar to that, if i needed to do pullups id jump up on the top of the entrance way goign into my school lockeroom and bang out pullups, always killed my fingers though
