Yesterday's workout was solid and your deadlifts and rows are improving really fast...not fast enough that I'm overly worried, but maybe fast enough to make me slightly nervous :ughnoes:

Ben, training back actually took longer than we thought so we sort of rushed through shoulders. We'll throw in some upright rows for you next week :2:

Looking damn solid man. Taking a few days off and coming back and getting a PB in deads is damn good stuff. Excellent work. And training with Line can only be a benefit.

I was in the gym for way too long, but it was really crowded, and I meant what I said about doing biceps.

10-16-06 9:00-10:50

Flat DB Press
70 lbs x 10
80 lbs x 10
90 lbs x 8
100 lbs x 4

Hammer Strength Iso Incline Press
140 lbs x 10
140 lbs x 10
155 lbs x 10

Decline DB Press
70 lbs x 10
80 lbs x 9
90 lbs x 5

Rope Cable Extensions
40 lbs x 12
50 lbs x 10
60 lbs x 10
70 lbs x 6

Reverse-Grip Cable Extensions
60 lbs x 15
80 lbs x 12
100 lbs x 10
120 lbs x 8

BB Curls
55 lbs x 12
75 lbs x 10
95 lbs x 8
95 lbs x 5

Seated DB Curls
35 lbs x 8
35 lbs x 8
35 lbs x 8

Overhead Cable Curls
40 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10
DROP SET: 60 x 8, 40 x 8, 20 x 15

Aftermath:
It was too long, but I'm glad I got everything in that I wanted. Chest and bis are definitely feeling it.
How does one note which 'side' of the cable machine you're using? One side has a mechanical advantage (two pulleys) and the other is just one pulley; obviously I'm not doing twice as much from rope extensions to underhand extensions...maybe you multiply by two or divide by two to get to the right convention? :e5dunno:

Good session with very nice weight on the presses. Kinda scary you picked the same two chest exercises as me even though we trained seperately today :ughnoes:

You better believe I won't let you get away with doing cable-only work for triceps next time though...or overhead cable curls

Just be lucky I didn't do any flys. I thought about doing those too to spite you even more especially.

Thanks for the post, Max!

Not suprised your chest and bi's felt it bro, good solid lifting. I don't mind hitting the cables every now and then they are good for mind blowing pumps.:yardsalebroly:

Pumba: Thanks for checking in; the pump was good :49:

BigBen: I actually never had the explained to me...I just thought Line wanted to kill me with skull crushers. I also notice you guys doing a lot of close grip bench; I think I'm going to make Line do those next time :31_whip:
As for the 100s, I want 6 next time!

10-17-06 9:40-10:50 Way too long for how much we did

Squats
185 lbs x 10
225 lbs x 10
275 lbs x 1...2 with a spot...damnit
225 lbs x 8

Leg Press
450 lbs x 10
650 lbs x 8
650 lbs x 8
340 lbs x 25

Seated Hamstring Curls (16 settings)
10 x 10
12 x 8
10 x 10

And now for today:

10-19-06 7:40-9:10

95 lbs x 15

Lateral Raise Machine

110 lbs x 8
110 lbs x 8

Standing Calf Raises
175 lbs x 12
215 lbs x 10
255 lbs x 10
295 lbs x 10...oh yeah, we'll be going heavier next time

Aftermath:
I felt insanely good today. I put up the 85s for shoulder press which was awesome  I felt good on the DB Rows too, although I'm a little concerned about my form because I'm not positive I should be putting up the 120s for 10. I'll keep working on that.
Beno, I do enjoy upright rows, but I have to be careful with my wrist. I'm glad I had my wraps on because it probably would've hurt otherwise. To avoid that I used to do them with DBs and was just careful about not letting them twist the wrong way. That and/or lighter weight with a bar.
That's it for now, peace all, glex out :inouteek:

You had a great workout today and your strength is progressing really quickly. Now that you're done with the PFT's it's time to add some bulk. Have a great weekend bro.

Not bad for a first day back, I guess. At least I'm getting back before I lost all of my strength :weightlifter: I'm probably going to start using creatine soon, so that should help too. It'll be my first time, so I'm looking forward to it. That's it for now...Glex out (hopefully not for two weeks again!) :inouteek:
