Excellent session, Glex:2:

I feel your pain on those stinking biceps though. My arms are like Kong's, so filling in the appropriate mass has always been a challenge for me too. Let's beat the piss out of 'em, ya?

I've found sinlge arm preachers are a nice substitute for con curls, if those are rubbing you wrong. Spider curls are my personal reject lift in that group.

And thanks for the legs compliment; they still need a lot of work, but I am doing opposing training it seems so I'm not terribly disappointed with either discipline (long distance running, weight lifting).

Rocky: It's always worked for me in the past, so I'm hoping to get a nice little boost for a month or two.

Alright guys, I've been baking cookies all day (and thus eating batter and being a general fatty all day). I was going to go to the gym, but they were closed (they close at all these weird hours). Then I was going to lift at the apartment complex, but I can't get into the building. Then I was going to go home and do some stuff then go on a run, but then Denny's called and wants me to come in to work early. So, as we speak, I'm doing a quick workout at home with Sara's stretchy bands. I'm going to throw in some pushups and ab work too, then get dressed and head out to work. With any luck I can wake up a little early tomorrow to get a run in. Later all :io:

I spent the weekend eating like crap (Sara's graduation party), and now I'm paying for it :49: Oh well, back on the diet from ten minutes ago onward. I'll drop that weight off quickly enough, I suspect. I went running today, 27 minutes at a medium pace, and be looking for a chest/shoulders/triceps day tomorrow :xyxthumbs:

If you don't like the concentration curls, trying doing them with an EZbar, it works pretty well. You need to get Line back into the weights :no:

squats and pullups really stand out in ur last session, i hear u on the drop in bodyweight helping the pullups, shit they just kept getting stronger with me every week as i dieted down...

Bulkboy: I know, pullups are like the only exercise that gets better :bowroflarms:

Fallen: Hmm, not sure what you mean. I don't mind doing light weight on exercises like that, I just didn't like the motion and the contraction. I was having trouble getting the form right and it didn't feel like I was working my biceps as much as another exercise would.

Running: 35 minutes
Medium pacish. Started off slower but it picked up. If it had been warmer I probably would've gotten runner's trot :weaksuace: It's all that crap I ate over the weekend. I'm gonna eat an apple and some granola then hit up teh weights.

I haven't done a lot of incline work, and as you can see they suffered. Not worried about the flats; I'm sure it's just because I wore out my chest on the inclines. I'm going to be doing more tricep work, too, because my triceps are about as inadequate as my biceps :disgust: Dinner's ready, later all :food-snacking:

like u said i wouldn't worry about the flats, the incline will for sure put a hurting on your chest endurance

Rocky: Some dousche came over and started to spot me when I didn't want him to. I probably had another two in me, but it was just odd. It happened later with another kid when I was doing the flat DB presses with 60 pounders. I know I'm not jacked but I hope I don't look like I need that much help!

Running: 25 minutes total
Warmup: 3 minutes
1.5 Mile Run: 9:37...missed the ROTC max by 1 second :49:
A few bleacher runs and regular running for another 12 minutes

I actually slowed up my sprint at the end because I thought I would make it under 9:36 and I felt like I was going to puke, but I missed it by a second. No biggie, though. If I had actually prepared for this (not run so hard the last few days) it would've easily been under 9:30. Going for a back and bis session now, possibly some legs too, but they're pretty sore from the running. Maybe I'll just throw in some leg press or something, we'll see how I'm running on time (have to be at work at 4).

Good stuff. Despite the heaviest set of deads being not what you wanted you still did a whole lotta reps overall. And to do 50 pull-ups at the start! Fuck that!

Rocky: Lol, the 50 pullups aren't bad. I'm only doing sets of 2-4, and it usually ends up being harder on my grip, which is what I was going for.

I went swimming for about 25 minutes. That counts for something, so I thought I'd post it. Gotta get to work soon, later.
