solid session glex, to bad about ur shoulder thingy, maybe u should just take a couple of days completely off from all activity cuz it sounds like u have alot going on atm. let it heal up and then go back to heavy presses, cuz we all know thats what builds chest:D

Tweak: Sorry, sweetie pie.

Bulkboy: I already had a few days off...I usually just work through it and it turns out ok.

Turns out my gym was closed at 5, so I didn't put in a workout. I was feeling a little sick anyway and I had to work graveyard again, so I just came home and played Civ III. I'm going to work in about a half hour, but I should get a session in tomorrow.

o well i guess it happens.........i was pretty disguested on Saturday when i tried to come out to Monroeville to train w/ shutupnsquat and i didn't know that they were only gonna have 1 lane open on 376 and the squirrel hill tunnels were closed

Turkish: Yeah, the tunnels are crazy right now. Traffic was backed up the other day inbound for apparently no reason :e5dunno: Maybe there was a crash that had already been cleaned up by the time Sara and I drove by the other way.

Was going to do some more back and biceps but I didn't want to reaggravate the arm. I'm very pleased with the session anyway. I had good depth on the squats and I could really feel the SLDL in my hamstrings. I should put in a workout tomorrow unless I wake up too late, stay tuned.

Hi Glex, nice session. Those SLDLs are huge man, that exercise scares me so i never go that heavy, props to you.

BTW i think i had that same shoulder pain your feeling when doing pullups, i had it doing behind neck pull downs and it lasted months (i didn't take care of it, silly me). It's gone now...and i don't do pulldowns anymore lol.
Give it time to heal and then focus on your form for those "risky" exercises.

Storm: Thanks :2: They really did a number on my hamstrings, so I think I'm doing them with better form now, even though the weight's not anywhere near what I used to do on them.

Tweak: How do you know so much about my runner's trot? :uhoh2: Thanks, I forgot to mention that there was a minute between each 10 x 3 set. My calves really haven't shrunk that much; I haven't been running enough. Joey and I haven't really talked this summer, we both have odd work schedules :e5dunno:

I should get that running in tomorrow, as well as the modified push day. Hopefully my shoulder can handle some flat DB presses or BB press.

:hsughr: My arm's probably at like 95% right now. I was holding back a little on some of the exercises (e.g. side laterals, preacher curls), and I still feel like I put in a good workout. I kept asking myself if I was doing too much, but it was going really well and I feel fine now :xyxthumbs: We'll see what comes tomorrow, but as usual, that stupid pain seems to have gone as quickly as it came :e5dunno:

Also, the phone thing Sara bought me that I mentioned in the general discussion area worked great and I got to listen to some Rush during my workout :xyxthumbs:

No cardio again today...I was running late and my legs are still really sore, but tomorrow I'll do something since I'm not lifting.

wow huge flat dumbell presses there man, very impressive...
overall a very intense and solid session, good numbers all over really:)

as to civ 3, no i dont play much online, i havent played much lately, i just start up a single player game from time to time. definetely my favourite game of all time, i never seem to go really tired of it, and offcourse its the "just one more round mentality":D

Great session - especially for holding back a little - didn't seem to compromise your huge lifts at all. Great benching and curls!

I did get out for a short run. 25 minutes, medium pace. Legs are still sore, but a little looser now. Off to work :disgust:
