BigE: I think we may have started a volume war without knowing it :spy: The graveyards are beating me up, but I'm dealing.

So, I went to bed, most on accident, last night at 11:00. I slept until noon today. Then I went for a run, which was most terrible. I ran for 35 min 30 sec, and it was just hard. It was like my legs didn't want to move. To top it off, I lost my keys on the run and had to backtrack to find them. Luckily I had a good idea about where they could've been lost and they were a short walk away. Anyway, I got home and did some abs.

I was just feeling drained and tired. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting much out of weight training. However:

pullups and lat pulldowns in the same session? :weaksuace:

why?

BB Rows are looking nice, good on you to cut the weight back and focus solely on form :xyxthumbs:

deadlifts are awesome :gaygay: nicely done hitting that PB while dieting even :xyxthumbs:

hack squats are nothing short of well done.

Superb drop set on those db curls as well. :2:

aftermath? I'll take it if I want :spy:

I wasn't satisfied with the pullups, and I didn't want to do sets of 2-4. I'll save that for another day. And don't you touch aftermath :spy:

Rageking: Thanks man :xyxthumbs:

What a bizarre yet satisfying session. Awesome job on the PB, and considering, the rest of the session was better than you give yourself credit for.

Turkish: Thanks man. I'm really happy about it, 425 next time I max out :weightlifter: ... :ughfingers:

Rocky: It was satisfying. Thanks :hsughr:

Just went for a run. It was a little over 34 minutes, but I also stopped (without stopping my stopwatch) to do some pullups. I'm counting it as cardio, though, because I didn't stop to rest. It was run up to obstacle, stop, jump up, do some pullups, jump down, start running again. It was much better than yesterday, but still a little sluggish.

Going to do some weightlifting now. We'll see how it goes.

Tweak: Well, I usually don't eat too much between running and training, sometimes not at all (unless I do them hours apart, obviously). I just go with what my body tells me. Today it told me to have a jolt of a sugary drink and a granola bar before I hit the gym.

Bulkboy: Thanks man :2: I was very happy.

Aftermath:

Just a quick one today. I had things to do at home. I'm a little disappointed with the bench press, although I'm sure it'll come back fairly quickly. I used to take 225 x 8 for granted :e5dunno: Military press...who knows with that freakin' exercise. I'm gonna skip it next time for some incline bench and instead just through in DB raises for teh shoulders. Dips were kind of weak too...oh well. I've been on creatine for about 4 doses now so that should start helping, as well as the newly recovered arm :xyxthumbs: Now I'm going to go try and take a dip in the pool before it closes in 15 minutes :io:

:zangief::zangief:Yeah Buddy!!:zangief::zangief:

Supreme work on your deads Glex. The 500 club has been starved of recent(and likely truthful) members for some time now; at this rate, I think you'll be there before you know it.

I would say flat BB would be scattier than da military press, but maybe it's just me:e5dunno:

Turkish: Let's hope :ughfingers:

Tweak: Actually it started thundering after I got outside :tear:

Bulkboy: Thanks, hopefully they both get back to what I'm used to.

BigE: 500 club would be awesome, but I think it's a bit early to be looking there. If I'm extremely lucky it would be late this winter or early spring, but probably not for another season after this winter I'd say. Who knows, though, I'll try :hsughr: Oh, and the military press is just my own personal scatty exercise. I'm extremely inconsistent on it.

Ragekage: I'd agree with you normally, but for some reason I have bad streaks with military press. If I take a session off the military press hopefully it'll come back up, and I've had a lot of success with my shoulders hardly doing any shoulder presses at all (a few summers ago). I guess I'm racing someone to the 500 club now :spy:

Alright, I wanted to do some cardio today, but I woke up late and only barely had time for weights before work. I was going to run after work, but I got out late :disgust: Here's the weight session:

7-19-07

185 lbs x 10
225 lbs x 8
225 lbs x 8

145 lbs x 10
145 lbs x 10

Seated Calf Raise Machine
180 lbs x 8
160 lbs x 10
135 lbs x 12
145 lbs x 10
New machine, had to play around with the weights to get it right

Pullups
BW x 13...PB :hammer:
BW + 25 lbs x 4
BW x 8
BW + 10 lbs x 5
BW x 7

Close Grip Cable Rows
160 lbs x 10
160 lbs x 10
160 lbs x 10
160 lbs x 10

Alternating Reclining DB Curls
30 lbs x 10
30 lbs x 10
30 lbs x 10
30 lbs x 10

Preacher Curls
85 lbs x 10
85 lbs x 8
75 lbs x 10
75 lbs x 10

Concentration Curls
20 lbs x 12
25 lbs x 10
25 lbs x 10
20 lbs x 10

Fascia stretching for biceps

Aftermath:

Squats are going back up, pleased with that. Satisfied with the depth. Got a PB on the pullups, that's cool; I'm sure the weight loss has a lot to do with that. I'm going to be doing a lot more bicep work, which will probably unsettle a lot of you. It's just what I've had success with in the past; mine don't like to grow :tear: I was very disappointed with the concentration curls, though. I remember liking them better, but I doubt I'll be doing them again soon.

The creatine should probably (hopefully_ start to have an effect soon, and considering you're already lifting some nice weight anyway it'll hopefully spur you on even further.
