Looks like my medical history is going to screw me over with getting into the forces anytime soon. If my appeal doesn't go through, earliest I can re-apply is march 2010. Really bummed out right now. Looks like plan B is in progress for now. I'll be applying again for sure, this has just delayed things for a while.

I've appealed and talked to some people on the arrse military forum, it seems I am screwed untill 2010. Can't believe this has happened, I was only 4 weeks away from my basic training. I've done everything they have asked me to do so far, its only my medical report screwed me over big time. I just hope these 2 years pass quickly.

That sucks to hear Pain after all the effort you've put in, but at least you know you have it in you. You could keep at the training and be some sort of super-ninja-commando next time you apply. Or you could bulk up again.

stamina/endurance in the gym is increasing each time.

reverse cable curls? where those on a EZ type bar attachment or a straight bar? EZs are weird for reverse curls.
Pecs must be burning too, awesome job.

My cardiovascular conditioning is really good at the moment, I don't get nearly as tired doing 1 hour workouts as I used to. Reverse curls was with a straight bar. :2:

Shit happens, I'm just going to have to deal with it for now. When I got the news last week, it was a tough pill to swallow. I've just had to reset goals and what I need to do in the next 2 years before I can re-apply.

Thanks. My pressdowns have always been a good lift for me. Biceps have also gotten stronger over the past few months.

Dont ever think your trainings been for nothing if things dont go as youve planned.Its been great to follow your progress to this day and i hope it will continue as i hope that everything will work just fine for you:2:

Thanks guys for the kind words of encouragement! Means alot to me right now! I'm seeing the doctor again in a few days to try and get this mess sorted out, I feel my medical report was incorrect. I'm doing everything I can do right now that might help the situation. Atleast I can say I tried.

I know I am a bit late on this but what was wrong with your medical records that will make it so that you have to wait for two more years??

Was prescribed anti-depresants when I didn't want them. I went to the doctor to talk about a few problems I was having and she just ending up printing out a prescibtion of pills. I was never depressed, just had to talk to someone about a few things. I'm going to try and get this deleted off of my record and let the military doctor know I'm fine.

I wish doctors werern't so quick to prescribe pills. A 5 minute talk isn't really long enough to determine if someone has mental health problems.
