I went to the gym yesterday feeling strong enough to train, guess I was still sick. 10 minutes into some light running and I started feeling faint and dizzy, so I just walked it off for 20 minutes. Then I did some weights.

Cardio

10 minutes of light running
20 minutes walk

Weights

Then that was that. I felt strong enough to train. The weights were ok to do as I didn't feel dizzy doing that, just the cardio made me feel like passing out. :dunnodude:

I think I've read somewhere that a slow running taxes more on the body then a weightsession. I dont recall the level of weights it was though

Doing any kind of cardio after you've been sick sucks. Not only are you still recovering, but you've been trying to avoid moving for a few days, so your body is all like WTF when your heart rate starts going up.

True. This is the second time this year I've had to take time off from the gym because I was sick.

Toy Story was on while I was training, so, I pluged my ear phones into the tv and watched that instead of listening to music. :hsughr:

I'm still not feeling 100% better. On monday I plan on attempting 2 hours of intense cardio, 1 hour of running and 1 hour on the stairmaster. I hope I'm feeling atleast close to 100% by then.

I was thinking of going swimming today. Maybe I will. I think I've lost enough weight that I can look passable in a swim suit again :keke:

Good to see you're back on the mend after the flue. Impressive cardio you get done. Credit for having knocked the cardio on the head when you were ill to still get in a full lifting session. Dedication right there.

I'm going to start a diet on tuesday to get as lean as I can. I plan on following this diet for 2 months. Then I'm off to TA training for 7 weeks. :2:

Tomorrow I'm going to do 2 hours of cardio. I plan on doing this..

30 minute run
30 minutes stairmaster
30 minute run
30 minutes stairmaster

AM
20 minutes of stretching
20 minutes of ab work

PM
20 minute walk
10 minutes stretching
30 minute run
30 minutes stairmaster
30 minute run
30 minutes stairmaster
5 minutes stretching
20 minute walk

Total distance = around 20km
Total cals burned = over 2000

That was the toughest cardio session I've ever had to go through. After 30 minutes of running I felt like giving up but I just grinded it out till the end. I had to drink around 4 litres of water during those 2 hours. The 20 minute walks is just walking to the gym and back.

I actually can't wait till june 27 so I don't have to do this again. lol. :2:
