Words fail me. That was an awesome display of sheer determination. Energy and cardio skills great yes but to get through something like that take proper motivation and determination. You've got no worries when you start your training with chutzpah like that!

In the AM I did.

30 minute boot camp ab workout
pull ups - 2 second pause at top and 4 seconds on the negative
15 sets of 2

Triceps

Cable push downs
20 reps / 20kg (warm up)
15 reps / 30kg
13 reps / 40kg
8 reps / 50kg

Dips on the dip machine
6 x 6 reps bodyweight

Bench dips
20 reps / with 20kg plate
20 reps / with 20kg plate
15 reps / with 20kg plate

bb skull crushers
10 reps / 20kg
10 reps / 20kg
10 reps / 20kg

Incline db bench press
26kg x 15
26kg x 10
24kg x 10

Thanks! :2: Are you a believer in working on negatives to improve pull up numbers? btw, those were dead hangs I did.

I just bought a door gym to do pull ups. Can't wait to try it out.

I tried doing negatives every once in a while, but I didn't like them. Then again, I had also heard that you were supposed to hold them for as long as possible, and it just seemed hard to measure objectively. The articles you put up talk about 4-5 count negatives, and that may help. I've heard they do work, but I got along fine without them :coolguy:

You mean arms all the way extended at the bottom?

Again I only had 4 hours sleep, thats 7 or 8 I've had since monday.. I just can't seem to stay asleep for very long. Must be those TIGER energy drinks I've been having before my workouts. Guess I better give them up so I can sleep better.

cardio/abs
stretch
1 hour walk on tredmil at 5mph
30 minute boot camp ab workout. (Was kinda lame but it works really good)

BW workout
pull ups (shoulder width grip)
5 x 5 ( holding for 3 seconds at the top for the first 2 reps of each set and 4 seconds down on the negative. I rested for 2 minutes inbetween sets.)

(no stopping)
SET 1
20 bw squats
20 burpees
10 bw squats
10 burpees
15 bw squats
15 burpees

SET 2
10 burpees
20 squats
10 burpees
20 squats
10 burpees
15 squats
10 burpees

END

My legs feel like mush right now.
