Did you really need to use the lateral raise machine after all those db laterals?

i have thought about it before. what do you suggest something 5x5?
I've never like deadlifting for more than 3 reps. Light sets or drop sets I've done 5-10 but work sets I always liked doubles or triples.

But if you're going to get the most out of doubles you need to be doing 5-10 sets above 80% of max. So say your max is ~350 any sets above 280 would be a work set. In your last workout that would be 1 set (assuming my guestimate of your max is right). So you would have to do less sets/reps leading up to it and be aiming for 5 sets at 280+

That said, some people swear by high rep deadlifts. I'm yet to see good form on a high rep set, but it may exist. :borat:

thanks tim. the last time i tried my max was 365 so you were about right. but what you are saying sounds pretty good to me. i will def. try it out wednesday when i hit back again.
