nice flat with some good reps, impressive military as well after hitting bench so hard, I'm sure if you would have not pre-exhausted your front delts so much that 225 would have been cake.

supersets between side and rear laterals are a nice touch. Dips are great, and i hate you too :gaygay:

shrugs are respectable as always, looking forward to Glex's log to hear the stories.

I swear if its another "when Line got naked..." story I'm going to punch you in the face :no:

I love that split line, chest shoulders and tris are awesome together! U put up some great weights too bro. And 225 on military press is nothing to be disgusted with man. the BB shrugs were impressive as well, and i hate tweak too :spy:

Chesty - That sucks they took out your dip station. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the one we have but I guess it's better than nothing. I was spoiled in High School where we had this set of thicker parallel bars that weren't so tough on the palms. Thanks for the compliments on the weights I used...next bench day will likely be a heavy one.

Pumba - I'm not a big fan on the cortisol thing because I've made such great strides training at similar durations for awhile now. I actually tried a new technique on starting my first rep on the 225 and it just didn't work out as well as I had hoped.

To be honest, I really can't say for sure how effective the fascia stretching is from a results standpoint because I've been inconsistent with it but it does provide a much greater stretch than the conventional methods so there may be something to it.

Tweakers - Thankfully I stayed naked through the entire session :xyxthumbs:

It's really an honor to be any type of inspiration to anyone on here so that means a lot and I hope you're able to get that bench of yours up to where you're happy (not that any of us will ever be happy, right?).

Ben - I'm really liking this new split as well so far and my numbers have improved across the board on pretty much every exercise. I have found that I like doing a tad more volume for tris though because my biceps are still slightly overpowering in comparison.


UPDATE: Well Glex and I were originally going to train today but he had a late exam and has PT in the morning so we decided to hold off. Tomorrow we'll hit Legs/Back/Bis and then Friday I drove home for Spring Break. Not sure where I'll train yet (I've sort of outgrown my basement) but you can be certain I will be putting sessions in...even some cardio! :eek4:

There's nothing to:disgust: about where your military presses are concerned Line; 225 is serious weight; coupling that with proper form is even tougher.

Your barbell shrugs were excellent as well:xyxthumbs:

I was grinning ear-to-ear for awhile after that and will probably have that same shit-eating grin plastered to my face for the next few days. Tomorrow I drive home and have the day off from training but after that it's back to the gym for me.

mvsf1 - LOL, yeah my camera ran out of memory after two vids. Oh well, when I do get a video of me doing 500 I'll edit it into something special but since I'm driving home from school in a few hours I'll just post up this one for now.

:49: at the weight of my curls; I did a higher rep scheme for them because everything else had been so heavy. I'll have to go above 50's for you next time :xxthumbs:


Video: Well, here's me doing 485 for a single. I was happy with my depth and form, and no, although it appears I stall for a moment Glex did not help me at all with the weight. Honestly, when I put up 500 on my next set, it probably went up faster than it did here (one of my spotters even said he thought I could throw another 5 or 10 on each side, LOL).

I wish I had the memory card that would've allowed me to get the 500 rep on tape but didn't want to erase over this one for a possibly failed attempt.

That was a longer stall than I thought. I bet it felt longer to you :hsughup:

His 500 rep went up much smoother. He leaned forward a little at the start but caught it and pushed straight up from there.

Rumors are circulating that your 500lbs squat video is going to have production costs upwards of $1500. Is this true? :spy:

Excellent work on hitting the 500 squat man, great work! I also acheived a PB today, couldn't be happier, it ain't quite as extreme as your's, but it was 200kg/440lbs squat for 3 reps! :hsughr: That was my previous one rep max! :hsughr: (Although it must be said, i have not maxed for several months due to lower back injury). Well, i'm happy with my squatting, you're happy wiv your's! We're both happy! :bowroflarms:
