How are your legs doing in the corner rows?

^I'm not sure what you mean?

By corner rows you mean what Ronnie Coleman did with a bar, 14 plates and the foot of Brian Dobson in a corner of Metroflex, don't you?

That movements puts a lot of stress on my lower back (of course) but also on my hammies and glutes. What about you?

I have not experienced any problems with my legs or hams in that exercise.

Mvsf1--> are you sure you're doing it right?

Yeah, I think I do it right. I injured my right ham 3 times, 2004,2005 and 2006. Tnx God, now I think it's completely healed. I can squat heavy ATG, heavy deadlift and so on, but corner rows sometimes makes my hams feel so tight. I think it might be lack of warming up legs in my back workout. :thumbsup2:

Well you already know what to do then. Just make sure your hams are warmed up before you do corner rows, or you could do corner rows at the end of your workout so you won't be able to go that heavy.

Hammies and glutes? lol. Maybe you should try sitting down more as you hit em. It's possible you're doing similar to a stiff legged deadlift range of motion?

whats the point of low reps at this point?

EDIT: im not trying to sound like a smart ass after your reply, its just i dont know the reason and im sure there is one behind that approach.
Studies show it gives a strong boost of the metabolism.

People who switch entirely to 12-20 reps usually suffer in that area.

Meh, I think my back is @ 45 degrees... I'll try to sit down more, then.
