Watch better movies.

I know :tear: I usually just randomly pick one from my list to watch and this was a bad week. I really don't even know why I have Ron Howard on my list. The past 3 films I've seen from him I either didn't like, or just thought it was fair. :dunnodude:

I just watched "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"

I think it is a pretty awesome movie. I am most impressed by Casey Affleck's acting.

The King of Comedy seems oddly out of place there. As for Hitchcock's films, many are very good but he really only has a handful that I'd consider essential viewing. In regard to The Elephant Man, it is a great film but I'd concern more with just exploring all facets of Lynch in general as opposed to that one piece. Even so, after watching the most epic of the films you've listed (The Godfathers and Kane) I don't see why you couldn't, or shouldn't, divulge yourself with some foreign film. Have you seen any?

21 was an awesome movie. Saw it last night. Of course they had to make it hollywood corny, but the main focus was still on the card counting itself. I would go see it everynight this week it was free.

The Mist.

Actually a decent movie.
The ending was so filled with irony it made me want to slay a virgin.

Well, I've seen two of Lynch's films already; Inland Empire and Mulholland Dr. The other two I listed were ones I have a big interest in seeing. I will, eventually, see everything Lynch has done. No, I haven't seen any foreign films yet. How would you compare them to American film?
