The Bride Wore Black (Truffaut, 1967) - More or less what Tarantino based his Kill Bill films off of.

Good to know I am not the only one. I remember moderately enjoying edward scissor hands when i was young, but watched it again, i mean what the hell. Not a fan of his work.

I'm glad you enjoy it as it truly was fantastic. That being said, your hyperbolistic comment is pretty silly. I do consider it to be in the top 20 from this decade though, and that's certainly saying something.

Flex, you do realize that Black Snake Moan is easily the best film you've listed?

Flex, you do realize that Jumper and Harold & Kumar were terrible, right?? I'm sure the others weren't too good either.

Oh, I just got back from seeing Appaloosa. Very good... I'd say around an 8/10.

Donnie Darko

Very interesting movie. Perhaps I am truly stupid but I find no "deep" perception of the film, I mean for me its meaning and conclusion are very understandable and not extraordinary at all. I say this because a lot of people have told me "you need to watch it many times to understand its true meaning"

Am I missing something ? (two universes were created, he ended up terminating one going back to the other and choosing to die to save the girl)
