THANK YOU.

I watched it twice and it was both times I thought it was meh.

I watched Platoon last week and knew Dafoe would play a raging homosexual at least once in his career.

I loved this film. :umwtf:

I would agree that the film has gapping holes, dialouge is stilted at times, and some of the accents and performances miss the mark at times, but overall it really is a great little film. I think that stems from the themes and plot line, which if you aren't a fan would put you off.

It's adolescent in both its script and stylistic choices. The dialogue is pathetic. The camera worse. Playing with the moral implications of what constitutes a "just killing" is an interesting topic, if explored effectively. It's not.

not that good.

I watched this the other day and thought it was going to be awesome from the opening scene. How I was wrong. The new bond movies just aren't any fun, they're too serious.

^^ Huh??

The only weak point was the actress who played his wife. Jack's performance made her look like a lump of wood.

I'm going to split hairs and say that Jack's performance did dwarf hers, but would refrain from such a comparison. Pieces or, lumps, of wood tend to be still, and we both know that's not the case here. Shelley Duvall flails, shrieks, over-acts, etc...she's more comparable to a banshee.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

I didn't research the film before I watched it so i had no idea kevin Smith directed it. Although I probably should of known when jason mewes was in it. I was so happy to see that Craig Robinson (the black guy out of pineapple express) got a prominant role in this movie, because the guy is just hilarious.

Untraceable

I havent watched the ending yet (I was falling asleep last night watching it), but so far it's been decent. In some ways it's reminding me of Saw.

Yes a lump of wood was rather harsh. We probably need a category for actors of this ilk, like a puppet or maniquin, to adequately describe them. I can already think of a few candidates:

1) Shelley Duvall - obviously
2) Sofia Coppola - Godfather III
3) Hayden Christiansen - Revenge of the Sith (Maniquin SkyWalker....)

Balsa actors? Because they are light on, lacking strength, and will ultimately break on stronger actors.
