Watched Glengarry Glen Ross. Good film. Can tell it's based off a play from the pretty much static set and the script which David Mamet adapted from his own play. Great example of how a script and acting can make a film which is set in such a minimal setting. Can't decide on a standout for acting honours as each one worked so well.

No way... although it was better than the ones with Val Kilmer and George Clooney :food-snacking:

EDIT: Just watched The Pursuit of Happyness. Id say Will Smith put in a good effort. I didnt really see the big connection between him and his son, it was just him trying to be happy, getting pissed, dragging his son around everywhere with him. His son was just like "confused" for the most part, thats what it seemed like to me. His g/f, wife or whatever was a bitch. Good thing she left him. It was funny when she was leaving and he was like "you want to leave?!", "you want to be happy?!", "then get the hell out of here and go be happy!" :49:

It's easily the worst of the trilogy.

Why are movies so friggin long these days!?! The new pirate movie is on for nearly 3 hours. My butt goes numb at around 60 minutes when sitting on those uncomfotable theatre seats.

It's fantastic, i haven't played a game that is as much fun as this in a long time. There's a ton of stuff to do as well as playing with the black suit and the city looks amazing.

IMO the reviews from IGN and gamespot are very unfair and misleading

These are IMO good and fair reviews

PGNx Media = 9.5 out of 10 http://www.pgnx.net/reviews.php?page=full&id=13876

Gamezone 8 out of 10 http://xbox360.gamezone.com/gzreviews/r24185.htm

Gamepro 4,25 out of 5 http://www.gamepro.com/microsoft/xbox360/games/reviews/111811.shtml

I watched 'The Guardian' last night. How very cliched. A Top Gun in the water if ever there was. Ashton Kutcher really can't act in it. Costner acquited himself reasonably well and the final climax was a complete rip-off of the opening scene to 'Cliffhanger'. Enjoyable in a passes the time non-memorable way.

What's interesting is that Raimi might get the directorial job for The Hobbit, thus pushing back the release dates for the next three Spider-Man films and subsequently Maquire and Dunst won't be returning.

It's in no way better than Spider-Man 2, minus Bruce Campbell having a funnier roll. :eek5nono:

So i watched a slasher movie last night. Behind the Mask. I have no idea what i was thinking when i decided to watch this.

After that movie was over i watched The Breakfast Club, only because i've heard its one of those "classic" movies from the 80's. Why was is it a classic movie from the 80's?

It's one of those films that was so good at capturing the public's conceived images of what social cliques were in societal 1980's high school and every viewer could find at least one or more character traits that they could relate to. It's not a bad movie, some of the dialogue is interesting, and it's very hard to capture a motion picture that primarily takes place in one setting but for the most part it's just remembered by our generation because we feel it's cool to reflect on decades we weren't mentally competent enough to remember.
