I plan on getting royally smashed and seeing Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby tomorrow night at the Drive-In. Expect a review.

Also, despite it's sub-par reviews, I'll still see Woody Allen's latest work, Scoop, and give my thoughts on that as well.

I just saw The Descent tonight. Its a pretty insane movie, but pretty dumb. Very bloody and sickning, at the end youll just be like "What a stupid movie."

So I went to Blockbuster tonight and ended up buying The Three Burials of Meliquades Estrada, A History of Violence, and Charade...dammit, when I have money and go to a movie story I can't help myself :tear:

Same as the last one - the law of diminishing returns in full swing.

I want to watch a real scary movie, pain had talked about american horror movies were lame and all the same, I have to agree. I would like to get some opinions on some real scary movies, and I don't want the usual poltergeist, exorcist, or chainsaw massacre. Thanks

Japanese horrors are by far the best horror films around. I suggest:

The Ring (original Jap)
The Grudge (original Jap)
A Tale of Two Sisters
Phone

Quality if you don't mind subtitles. They will freak you out a lot more than any Hollywood horror ever will.

Anyone see Accepted yet? I'm considering it. There doesn't seem to be anything that great out now that isn't R rated (my parents, of course).

Just watched a trailer for Tony Jaa (Ong Bak) new film "The Protector" looks pretty good for an action film. He sure is one handy little bastard that's for sure.
