I saw Eastern Promises the other night. It's not as great as everybody is claiming, but it's pretty good. I don't think paying $8 and seeing Viggo Mortensons dick is worth it though. :hhj:

Wasn't his cock on screen long enough for you? :keke:

I've bought Heavy Metal on DVD, and im gonna watch it tonight.

The Wrong Man with Bruce Willis looked really good. I saw the first five minutes, but something went wrong :uhoh2:
So im gonna hire it again.

Still one of my top five movies is Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.
Johnny Depp and the bats :49:

Criterion always comes up trumps with DVD's - shame they're only Region 1 :tear:

Good thing I have multi-region. :)

I watched Miller's Crossing for the first time ever last night and was very impressed, even to the point where I may feel it's better than Fargo. I may rewatch the latter tonight for comparative purposes.

Oh, and I've complied a rough Top 100 list so after some modifications I'll probably end up posting it.

Strange. I just watched Miller's Crossing on monday. I love how the Coen brothers introduce characters. I wouldn't go as far as saying its better than Fargo.

Great movie, but no it isn't better than Fargo. Re-watch Fargo Line.
Wish the Coen's would do a good movie again.

I'm saying it might be better than Fargo, it wasn't a definite. I have seen Fargo several times and it does hold a place in my Top 100 but I'm really not sure what Fargo does better than Miller's Crossing. The latter took me back to a stylistic (yet bloodier) look at older noir films which is why I admire it; similarly to last year's Brick. While the emotional involvement isn't on the same level as that of Fargo that, in a way, is sort of the point.

Anyway Rocky, No Country for Old Men should be awesome.

Also, any Von Trier fans here? I'm going to be watching Manderlay today.
