As far as tunes go, i have my ipod on random play for the most part. Theres a lot of Opeth, Decapitated, Deeds of Flesh, Alestorm, Iced Earth, Prodigy, Symphony X and similar stuff. Ive been meaning to create regular gym soundtracks and the like... which is what i hoped to do at the beginning of the thread hehe but ive been so pressed for time with uni and work, that idea kinda fell by the wayside hehe

I'm a big fan of not wearing lifting belts. I thought given your deadlift that your squat looked like a non-belt lift. Good work!

thanks man! i always found belts uncomfortable :disgust: and im not really rushing to lift heavier, so im not gonna use one until i find it uncomfortable on my back handling the weight

Prizefag = Thanks man! yeah i dont like wearing the belt, my back feels great though!

chestiburger = yeah from the floor, but i rarely let the weight tough the floor between reps, i usually like to keep the tension all the way through.

^I was the same when I done them from the floor, but if your like me your body isn't made to deadlift so I prefer to start from the top these days.
