After trying them on...I can without a doubt say that they are much better then those I used before...and they support the wrist much better..I could actually use these as wrist support aswell..they are that stable

Just back home from todays session. It was deadlifts and chest triceps

Deadlift

Rotator cuff (Superset (no rest))

That was it for today. I got a really good pump and burn in my chest and triceps, And I got really good contact with my back doing the deads and hyperextensions :xyxthumbs: Those new weight lifting straps are awesome :D
Works good as wriststraps also

Very good deads Daniel. But dont forget to do them without straps as well, otherwise your grip is gonna get weaker and weaker.

I have always got a weak grip...I've busted up my left ringfinger..so I have close to no grip at all.

Last time I tested without straps was 2 weeks ago up to 120kg I think it was..slipping like crazy.

Why do you use straps for deads?

It feels more comfortable..and I can go heavier cause I dont have to worry about my grip slipping..max I've done without straps is 160kg for 1 rep.
With straps I can do over 10 reps on 160kg. Max with bad straps is 240kg.

I just kept going at 200kg today..I would never have got 5 reps with my old straps...The only reason I stopped at 5 reps todays was cause I was starting to lose the arch in my back

I feel ya on the weak grip. I've been doing a lot of stuff I used to do with straps strapless, but it's slow-going. Plus you've got that old injury. I still use straps on deads over about 120 kg, and on a few other things, too.

Straps are necessary for me...I just cant lift without them..I've tried to train without them, but it doesn't work :food-snacking:

Quality deads. Truly superb. I use straps for the same reason - won't get the reps otherwise and as much as I want toimprove my grip I'd rather do supplementary grip work rather than have my back work suffer.

That explains the loss of "power". I tried Spidercurls today, really good exercise..one I'm going to keep doing for sure. New PB in skullcrushers..even though the last two reps was bad. :xyxthumbs:

Sweet Lord Almighty!?! Went crazy - just a little. That's a lot of work on big muscle groups to get done in one session - not least getting a PB aswell!

Quality job on the deads even without the fail!
