Went in yesterday and did a full body foam roll session. I have been doing some research lately on foam rolling and its positive effect in loosening the fascia of the muscle. I think this will be good to do while on cycle so that it gives the muscle ample room to grow and so that the muscles stay loose.
As far as the epidrol goes, I feel like it is in my system pretty good now. I have a light leg day later today and I will update after that. I am currently at 30mg daily.

Hey dude about the foam rolling. I've heard of that too, but be careful when you do that. I first heard about it from a high school teammate who is now a personal trainer. If you do too much of that too fast you can get extremely sore, so sore that bruising will occur. Basically it stretches the fascia like you said and it breaks up scare tissue, when you break through that scar tissue its a good thing but from what my friend told me it can be pretty painful. If you try it out though include it in your logs, I'd like to see how it works for you because I have also thought about doing it. Do you have foam rollers in your gym?

Alright my friends, today was interesting. I had to be up at 4am so I could make it to work at 5am to train some clients and I couldnt fall asleep last night so I was running on about an hour of sleep and then my GI tract decided to get all hyper crazy on me so I literally bombed the vicinity of the whole gym the entire time I was working out, wondering the whole time if I was going to shit out an infant. That being said, the epidrol is in my system now and the weight is definately feeling a lot lighter especially when considering my condition for the workout.

Unilateral leg press: 5 platesx25, 6 platesx20, 7 platesx15
Stiff leg deads: 205x13, 205x12, 205x12
Hack squat: 6 platesx15, 8 platesx12, 8 platesx10
Leg extension: 145x18, 145x15, 145x15
Seated calf raise: 3 platesx20x5

I put my feet up high on the leg press and it really hit my hams and glutes well. The deads were very slow and very controlled and I felt my glutes shaking for about an hour after the workout:methman:. Hack squats were past parrallel and the extensions and calf raises were very controlled. I cant wait for back and tri day tomorrow after a proper night of rest!

I use foam rolling quite a bit with my clients, mostly on calfs and IT bands. You are right, it is extremely painful and should be performed under educated guidance. I love taking it to a new client because first there is the pain that they can hardly stand, but then they usually tell me within a week or two how much better their muscles feel and it can often releive muscle and back pains. I am planning on doing it about once a week. We have some rollers in my gym and I have one here at my house. I will surely start to include those exercises in here :xyxthumbs:

Oh and another trainer at the gym had me try out a similar home-made contraption the other day and I have to say I was very impressed with the results. With a foam roller it is difficult to get the erector spinae real good so he took two tennis balls and wrapped them together in athletic tape. I layed down on it so that the two balls were on my erectors and rolled slowly. It hurt like hell but as soon as I got up I noticed immediate relief and I could tell right away that my erectors werent nearly as tight as they always are!

Work outs looking solid.. The foam rollers are the best. Have you thought about a form of HIT?

Not the best feeling to have while doing leg day huh?

Good session otherwise. You've got me interested in this foam roller idea not too.:xyxthumbs:

Alright guys, today was back and tri. I had an awesome pump today. Nothing real crazy or anything but I sure did notice a little more endurance.

Pull up wide grip: bwx10, bw+25x7, bw+25x7, bw+25x5, bwx8
Bent over rows: 275x10, 315x8, 315x7, 315x7
Wide grip lat pull down: 220x12, 235x10 (PB), 235x10 (This was much stronger than usual)
One arm db rows: 110x12, 110x12
Close grip bench: 205x9, 225x5, 205x8, 205x7
Skull crusher: 110x10, 110x10, 100x12, 100x10

Overall I was very pleased with the session. I am still at 30mg a day with the epidrol. May bump it up to 40 next week. Since I am on cycle I will be lifting 5 days a week as opposed to 4 so tomorrow will be a chest and shoulder day. My chest is so piss poor and it has been bothering me ever since I started lifting so hopefully we can get a little more size here.

A modern day gladiator emerges from the depths of normalism. I do not care to be one of the 99. I want to be among the few.

Incline db press: 50x12, 80x12, 95x12, 100x10, 100x10, 100x8, 95x10
Standing overhead bb press: 155x10, 155x8, 165x6
Decline hammer strength: 3 platesx12, 4 platesx6, 3 platesx10 (per side)
Wide grip up-right rows: 155x10, 155x8, 155x7

Awesome pump today. I took a pre-workout supplement called rush by ISS and I really liked it. I have discovered that much of the GI discomfort I am feeling during my workouts is most likely from the ethyl ester in the shotgun and the rush only has malate and I noticed a big difference there.

how are the foam rollers working for you? I need find some and find someone with experience with them so I can try those out.

I really like that quote. My dad bought me some no shotgun the other day. Today was my first time trying it out, I hope it doesnt give me the farts too lol. I've read numerous articles that have said that citrulline malate is great for endurance.

Hypo: Ooops! Typo fixed, thanks brother!
Bam: The foam rollers seem to help keep my muscles from getting too tight so far. NO shotgun is good stuff for sure, I like it a lot better than NO xplode.
