Raggamuffin - no I get what you are saying. I think we're all on the same page. Just as long as we aren't sold by cheap marketing but by real science.
PV - I was reasonably happy with them. Legs are sore today, but the lunges were not the best form, I was a bit unstable. So I'd guess that the squats probably were a little bit out of my 80% bracket.
El Freako - Ben I am your Father!
Dridz - I'm guessing that it will become more noticable. I'm also guessing that it may be like creatine and I'll notice it more when I go off it.
Ok second day of SuperPump.
Mixability - used a shaker this time rather than a stirrer. Mixed fine this way. Guess it needs more elbow action and less wrist motion.
Taste - lemon burst is still grating across the back of my tongue. I swear there is a whole bag of fake lemons in every scoop.
Aftertaste - avoided it by using a router rooter on my throat. Unfortunately I'd used it to clean the blocked toilet just prior.
Effects - had more pep today so hard to notice whether it lit a fire under me or not. Did feel more energetic than normal and trained longer than normal. Probably inadvertently trained a bit harder as well. Still no skin tearing pump and shirt tearing fullness, but in fairness I don't aim to pump up and get swole like those massive guys with the 13" arms curling in the squat rack.
Conclusions so far - Still not sold on SuperPump nor NO supplements. The experiment continues.
Raggamuffin: hopefully I'll have a clear conclusion and a supplement that can perk me up.
Freako: they are athletic..... oh never mind. I'm a man in "tight" tights, but only during winter. I was completely sold on their benefits from the first use. They may look a bit gay but whatever.
PV: I was pretty happy with it too. Arms were toast by the time I got to them.
Did some rowing this afternoon. Racked up:
40mins
8400m
This is 5mins more and at a pace of a minute quicker for the 30mins. So reasonably happy. My fitness is clearly improving and this can only be good.
Miami: I don't know about off the hook.... not just yet
Ok day 3 of SuperPump. I upped the dose to 1.5 scoops. So far I've had none of the "SuperDump" issues, but then again I've battled to notice anything other than the taste. Although either my taste buds have died or I'm starting to get used to the taste. First session after work and seemed to have enough energy. Once again hard to say whether it was due to SuperPump or just me.
Raggamuffini: They are a good thing to do. I use a thick grip of 2.5" which is really challenging. Normally though I do them as hangs from the chinup bar, just something different.
PV: Weakness would not be accepted by my heart...... at least that is what my ego says
Day 4 of the SuperPump series. Well I have finally felt something from this stuff, and it was good! It took two scoops to notice anything, but there was a light buzz leading into the workout and by the time I had finished the snatches I had started to get a fairly substantial pump. By the end I had a fairly full pump going, pretty decent considering I was doing <6 reps on every set. So I'm finally convinced........ at twice the serve and a cost of $4.40 per workout!
