Try some timed holds and grip work like grippers and plate flips. One thing I know that helps me is to do like 50 or 60 pullups. Do a set every 20-30 seconds until you hit 50; by the end I only get out sets of 2-4. I used to do these on a rough metal bar; I don't know if that helps thicken your calluses but I imagine it would. It works the grip pretty good.

And if nothing else get some straps. I'll always need straps on heavy deadlifts.

to improve your grip, try to do pullups on towels! that really helps a lot..

next time i will reduce the volume, man im so pumped now, my back is tight all the way up, i feel good, but im so tired, from now on ill do only 12-16 sets for large muscle groups and 9-12 for small, cant train like this anymore, cuz im sore for days after every workout...

that is good that u r going to try to lower ur volume becuz u do not want to overtrain, especially if u r sore for days and days after ur workout......that is a big problem w/ a lot of ppl is overtraining their muscles and not seeing results how they should b.....so make sure u feel everything out as far as how ur body feels and go from their to see what changes u can make in ur workout........don't forget it takes years and years and years etc....to figure out one's body

Thats a good, effective, technique. If you can hold your self up, and pull yourslef up when your tired as hell that will build your grip definitley. If your pullups bar is thick thats better yet. If not you can try and use some gym towels under your hands. It will give you a challenge of doing pullups with about an inch o 2 thicker bar.

Great session despite the grip failing. I have the same problem on my main sets so I use straps - however I am trying to improve my grip stregnth on the side too by doing plate pinches, hanging grip work and things like that to bring it up.

Dobbs: yeah lets hope my grip strenghtens:) anyway ill try out my gloves on them the next workout, and then get straps if that doesent work:)

beau37: yeah i think my grip strenght is kinda weak, ill try to improve it, thx for checking in...

max ot: thx alot for the kind words, yeah my barbell rows are ok, but sadly my deadlifts does not stand in proportion to them...

today was chest and biceps, pretty good workout, actually had a training partner to spot me today so i could go heavy on bench:)

Chest:

flat barbell press:

warmup with 50kg for 30 reps or sumthing and then:
60kgx10
80kgx10
90kgx8
100kgx4 last one assisted

incline smith press:

65kgx10
75kgx8
80kgx8

dips:

bwx12
bw+15kgx12
bw+20kgx12
bw+30kgx10 nice:D

pullover with dumbell:

27,5kgx10
30kgx10
30kgx10

Biceps:

straight barbell curl:

30kgx10
45kgx12
50kgx6

alternating dumbell curls:

15kgx10
17,5kgx10
20kgx9

dumbell hammer curls:

20kgx12
22,5kgx10
20kgx9

after this i did 25 minutes of cardio+ some abs and standing calf raises..

good session today:)

Heavy as always Bulkboy. Each lift u did you put up some great numbers. The dips were insane, after following your log, i can see you got a damn powerful chest. Heavy curls too, that for sure will make them grow.

a get workout as always bulkboy......it's always "comforting" (haha) to have a spot and know that u can push urself to the limit and beyond w/ some forced reps

Dobbs: thx man, well im not really satisfied with my chest to be honest so im working hard to improve it, my bench is not my strongest movement though, and that kind of bother me since its what people always ask me about... god damnit!

Turkish1530:yeah its awesome having a spotter, most of the time i train by myself, so i dont have that. i live in a small town in norway and lifting weights is not so popular around here, i had a training partner but he quit and now all he does is drink and smoke...

Todays workout was legs and calves, pretty good session i think...

Legs:

Smith squats:

didnt wanna push it to 160 today as i did last time, my quads were on fire after this...

barbell lunges:

lying leg curl:

seated leg curl:

50kgx12

did 3 sets of standing calf raises and 3 sets of sitting+ i did some abs afterwards, overall a good session...

Again those squats are superb. Lunges are great too - quality legs right there.
