Max OT: Week 11: Day 4: Legs!

i knew from the moment i started it was gonna be a bad workout, the warmups felt heavy, i felt unmotivated and tired.

ATG BB squats:

3 warmup sets

155kg*3 i got 6 with 150 last week, and now i got 3 with 155santawhat
155kg*2 just horrible-_- im too weak in the bottom it seems:disgust:

after this showing my motivation was basically down the drain, felt like quitting right away, but i managed to drag myself through the rest, but it all felt subpar after the squats.

BB hack squats:

125kg*6
125kg*6

leg extensions:

1 warmup set

55kg*9
55kg*8

lying leg curls:

1 warmup set

52,5kg*8
52,5kg*7

stiff leg deadlifts:

125kg*7

done.

paralell bar dips:

3 warmup sets

EZ scullcrushers:

1 warmup set

52,5kg*6

one armed reverse grip pushdowns: (the one dorian does in blood and guts:D, awesome exercise:D

8 for left hand, 7 for right (15kg)
7 for left hand, 6 for right (15kg)

straight bb curls:

2 warmup sets

55kg*8
55kg*6

standing alternating db curls:

27,5kg*4
27,5kg*4

done. did some abs.

don't feel bad for the leg day Bulky, it happens, not only to you, but to all of us sometime, and the rest of the workout plus the arm day is great, good curls and heavy scullcrushers :2:

thanks bro:2: i kinda needed to hear that:xmasrofl: i know i gotta expect bad days, but this day was just utterly bad. all i can hope for is a better leg day next week:)

Ive also had those days bulkie like everyone else.Next week youll do couple of reps more.Heavy dips and curls btw:xmaswiggle:

^^ it's normal to expect these kind of days, but you might exagerate a bit, cus it wasn't "utterly bad" :xmaskekegay:, and the next leg workout will be great, you'll see :xyxthumbs:

Lion: thanks bro, ye i hope for a rep more atleast on each set next week, if i dont get it, ill just have to cut back on the weight and work up again. thing is im just having a hard time adjusting to atg squats, im not used to going all the way down, and what i find is im very weak in the bottom of the rep.

tKD: thanks again man, well, i guess it could have been worse, but it was very dissapointing, i was expecting 4-5 reps on the first set, and when that didnt happend i just kinda gave up. next week will be better, it must be better:D

DA: hehe, thanks man, its true, we all have bad days, still annoying when it happend though. just gotta keep pushing forward and bring up those squats. thanks for the support bro:)

Nice Tri and Bi Day normally i'd be pissed about a bad leg day but you are consistent so i'll let this one go i guess lol, nice work bud don't let it get ya down.

thanks guys, thought i would post up yesterdays session. for those who dont know, i now train HIT.

BACK!

pullover machine:

2 warmup sets

125kgx9+ 1 forced rep and one static hold and 2 negative reps


Underhand chins:

1 warmup set

me+20kgx8+ 2 rest pause reps


machine overhand pulldowns:

125kgx12+ 2 partial reps+ 1 forced rep + static hold and 1 negative


Barbell rows:

1 warmup set

120kgx9 + 3 rest pause reps


one handed hammer machine rows:

125kgx10 each hand, static holds and sloooow negatives on the last 2 reps

hammer grip pulldown:

100kgx6


Deadlifts:

2 warmup sets

180kgx6

barbell shrugs off the floor:

150kgx14 + drop set to 100kgx18

in the end i did one set of situps, one set of leg raises and one set of rope crunches all to failure for abs.:xyxthumbs:

well, i dont train mentzer style, i do think a complex bodypart like back needs more than one exercise in order to develop it fully. but hey, i agree, i went alittle overboard this session, next time ill probably loose one of the pulldowns. i must add however, that it was all done in 45 minutes:xyxthumbs:

it is brutal i can tell u that, each and every set is taken to total failure and beyond, im completely drained after each and every workout. specially legs and back offc. today i woke up, and my whole back from my erectors to my upper traps to every square inch of my lats is just aching like hell, feels awesome:D
