50lbs db's for 12 reps, jesus no wonder why your biceps is shooting out like crazy

Thanks Miami but its not dbs ... its a freemotion machine thing
like cable curls, dbs i need work on, i think ... what i might do now is since im at a better gym with more stuff (machines,weights, SPACE heh) i'll be able to weak point strengthening
for my left arm due to winging scapula, i'll do freemotion curls only for that arm.

Today

Got to the gym round 11:00 o clock ish, got out at 1:00am or so

Did alot

Rotator cuff workouts
15lbs sides, 25lbs push presses one arm each 12-15reps etc

Seated ez curl tricep extensions behind neck etc
35lbs (weird goes by 15lbs increments) 8+ reps
Db kickbacks 20lbs 8-10reps each arm

the rest isnt in order i did too much.. :S

bench press 135lbs 11+reps (im not used to their rubber incased plates, or their bench thing, seems like its wider..)
then 155lbs 5+ reps? forgot heh
not bad .. for my arms

Chest presses on 3 diff machines (practicing newer machines :))
Decline one, incline, and regular one, oh also Pec deck with a diff handle position
from 80lbs up to 160lbs on chest presses, and on pec deck, up to 100lbs not bad
reps ranging from 4-10+ (just trying em out)

biceps

bicep freemotion curls
50lbs 10-16reps
2 sets (50lbs one handed)
straight Bb reverse curls close grip kinda 50lbs 8-10reps
ez bar curls 65lbs wide grip 6-9reps?

Abs
standing ab crunches with rop
30-50lbs (using some odd machine 50lbs feels like 200lbs, very odd)
10-15reps
then kneeling 35? or so lbs, same mount of reps

oblique twists with weighted bar thing up to 50reps

back
seated rows with some machine
metal bar sticks out with handle for each arm
and you row back, kinda hard to detail heh
one handed 60-65lbs 10+reps
then both hands 100+ lbs forgot, 8-12reps
(for both hands i went all the way back, beginning i had the handles touching each other nearly, then going back went outwards, good back pump)

then some stiff deads 115lbs 6+ reps
used my straps again, slowly going to up it.


and before this was cardio for bout 5mins
then after all of this was basketball with my bro
i joined Lifetime cus its 24/7 gym, and my bros already going there
now i got someone to spot me etc, and i can train my bro (hes older than me heh, he needs some help)

If i find out i forgot something i'll add it

Thanks Rider LOL, i shall keep up with the SLDL's might just keep a consistent 10-15lb increase now.

Hey ROCKY!! thanks man, the new gym had alot of interesting machines and other stuff
so i was assessing it all :)

last nite i did this


rotator cuff warmups

triceps
one handed Tricept pushdowns
30lbs i think? stickers missing
8-12 reps each hand
standing facing away tricep over heads with v-bar on cable machine
60-70lbs? 8-10 reps, flexed triceps all way thru, pumped
Dips with my weight 8

biceps
Db zottman curls 25lbs (light still not used to these rubber encased dbs) 10+reps
Db hammer curls 30lbs 8-14reps
one handed cable curls like concentration form 40lbs 8-10reps per arm

shoulders
side shoulder raises with dbs 20lbs 8-10

abs
ab cable rope crunches kneeling and standing
standing 80? lbs 10+reps
kneeling 100or so with 10+reps

legs
used my grizzly knee wraps
leg press with sled (havent done these in like a year or two keke)
90lbs wu, then 360, then 380,then 400? i think well i did get to 400lbs 4-5reps
leg extensions 80-100lbs 8+reps
seated leg curls up to 110lbs 8+reps
seated leg press machine calf presses (2 diff machines)
up too 110lbs for each and both calves 8-10reps

done

Did cardio 25mins focusing on pulse rate rather than cals etc
got my pulse to 170 something

then did some abs, back.

i asked her is this for here or to go, she said "take away" i forgot that means to go lol
been long time since ive been out of the country.

Alright fellers today
random stuff more assessments with machines

I'll post only the stuff ive never done but also my benching progressions
been training with my older bro.

First off i did 4 sets of bench pressing
1st set was 65lbs, 2nd 145, 3rd 155, 4th 155
with 14+ reps with with 10+reps with 4+ reps 3+ reps

did rear delts with cable machine right side cable with left hand and left side cable with right, never did this before, long time since ive done rear delts
tried 30lbs got 4+ reps, then 20lbs 4-7 reps?

did some other stuff, kinda pooped right now
took some n.o. xplode (3 half scoops almost) with one scoop of glycergrow
then after workout, drank scoop n half of cellmass and ate a protein plus bar,

side note, when i got to the gym and was in the locker room putting my stuffs up
group of kids were caught in there it was bout near 12 somin o clock
illegal for them to be around, no parents etc...
the guy who unlocks the door, lets members in called the cops on them
i minded my own business, didnt stare of give a look like "you deserve it"
just ignored their situation, maturely.

overall, if i can keep adding bout 5lbs or so every week or other i can get back to 245+ late this year. hope so heh, or early 09', i dont like their iron grips plates and dbs..
still need to get used to fancier equipment.
i give my workout a 8.8 out of 10.

Nice job Hypo - 5lb a week sounds like a lot in a short space of time though - don't wanna become fatty!

Yea, i know.. it was very hard to try this on my own with the flat benching
now with my bro as a spotter this might work alot better. :)

today did squats
95lbs 8+reps (ass to ground) i seriously need to practice more with form
going to assess this more.

flat bench
135 12reps 145 8 reps 155 4+ reps 160 3 reps
adding 5lbs once to twice a week to get 3 reps no less for last set

leg press 270 8+reps 410 4+ reps

db incline presses 40lbs 8-11reps
50 6+reps

machine decline hammer presses
multiple settings up to 40 each side
8+reps

also did rotator cuff workouts

seriously light weight of course, going to slowly increase
also not quite used to working out at nite
but im getting there :)

Better to start light and definately worth persevering with the form on squats! Get that big exercise down!
