Exactly, the same type of result was noted in rats with acetic acid.


Exercise significantly decreased soleus and gastrocnemius glycogen content, and feeding significantly increased liver, soleus and gastrocnemius glycogen content. In soleus muscle, acetate feeding significantly increased glycogen content and the ratio of glycogen synthase in the I form (means +/- SEM: 4.04 +/- 0.41 mg/g-tissue and 47.0 +/- 0.7 %, respectively) in contrast to no acetate feeding (3.04 +/- 0.29 mg/g-tissue and 38.1 +/- 3.4 %, respectively). Thus, these findings suggest that the feeding of glucose with acetic acid can more speedily accelerate glycogen repletion in skeletal muscle than can glucose only.

thank you thank you everyone.....my legs never look good in the offseason plus they were dead after training so the detail is going ot be even worse. I think that I have made some progress to my legs thus far but obviously i'm not even close to being satisfied

Had a very good chest/tri workout tonight. I honestly meant to bring my camera to record a few lifts but completely forgot......I was actually dissapointed becuz I hit 315 on flat for the most I had since my deload training.

Some highlights of the training!:

Flat BB bench
315 x 9
335 x 4 (20 more lbs felt like 100 haha)

Incline DB
100's x 10 (kept the reps slow with a big squeeze at top)

Hammer strength Dip machine (tri's)
6plts + 50lbs x 15

Tri pushdowns 110 x 10

(These are only a few of my numbers from the workout, I obviously did more sets and exercises!)

Weighed in at 251 after training with my clothes/shoes on.

Pre Sups: I've been using Myoshock b4 training and I really think it is a great pre-workout. I usually mix it up during the week: some days I use Myoshock, others I use NanoVapor. The good thing about myoshock is that I don't need to worry about drinking my shake with oats b4 training and then shortly after pound another water bottle of Vapor. I never really liked the idea of taking a pre-workout that was a pill, I always felt like powder was far better but it works well.
