If you can't find a gym think about making a few bits and pieces. A couple of bits of wood and you have a bench, couple of saw horses and you have a safety rack. Kegs, sand bags, even a yoke style squatting set up can be made from stuff you find around or bought cheaply. Don't neglect trees and rocks as places to chin and stuff to lift.

Unless you have money, in which case buy a BB and 400lbs of weights, and think about a rack and bench.

In the meantime keep up the different hard work.

Serb: 25% is getting obese, isn't it? I always feel bigger, too; my obliques are huge. Last time I got down below 200 lbs it was obvious.

Tim: Yeah, I definitely was looking into that kind of stuff. Unfortunately my dad is utilizing all the sawhorses and things in the house, and God knows what wood I can and can't use. I'm just going to stick it out for the next week or so until I move out and get to a proper gym.

That reminds me: I went all Rocky-style and axed apart a log in our yard to warm up before lifting. There you go, Chesti :49:

Running: 24:30 minutes
Took it pretty hard; this is the same course I did about a week ago at 26:30 and it's a lot hotter and more humid today, so I'm pretty happy.

Might take a day off from running tomorrow, but weights will be in the picture :weightlifter:

That's some nasty cardio man. I've just started cardio and running 9 minutes is getting rough...you are my hero.

Today I put in an upper body session and rode around on my bike a little. I'm getting really discouraged; I tried for about a half-hour to make a bench press rig out of the stuff I have available but just couldn't get anything decent. I ended up doing weighted pushups, but that's not gonna do it. I feel like I'm wasting away! The running's probably not helping with that, either.

^Don't lose heart Glex. It's only temporary and whilst it may not be optimal training it's still something and it's varied to what you normally do so it will have it's own benefits. Not long to go now bud.

I'm getting used to running hills again. Hills that crossed my path were beaten into submission by a hundred size 13 footfalls.

I think I'm going to ask Sara if she wants to go the gym tomorrow at her apartment complex. It'll suck, but it'll be better than what I have :49:

Here's the skinny: I used the 'gym' here at Sara's apartment complex. It was maybe an order of magnitude above my home setup, which is still pretty bad :49: It did allow me to hit my chest a little better, though.

The gym here really isn't equipped for any leg work, so I just did upper body again. I think I'm running later today anyway; maybe I'll throw in some hill sprints or something for strength.

It took me less than an hour, although I forgot to do abs so I'm gonna run through that before my shower.
