yeah I throughout the year alternate my rep range, currently I'm in a "strenght phase you could say" just pushing the max with good form to get that 4-6 reps, when I get the 6 maybe 7-8 on some exercises it's time for weight increase.
In May I'll change to a volume kinda routine.. more exercises , more sets, rep range of 10-12, supersets, drop sets..
progression is the key.
