Thanks, bro. ;)

A deload phase is a phase where you do light weight and few reps for about a week to let the body recuperate.
You usually do it at the end of a program cycle or if you feel you getting weaker and more tired it might be a very good thing to lay of the weights for a weeks time.

* To give your body a rest
* To give your mind a rest
* To peak for a meet
* To prevent overtraining
* To increase your chances of progress
* To prevent injury
* To increase motivation in gym/prevent becoming stale

Nice deload session bro. :tiphat:
I need to start implementing some deload sessions in my routine. Tunen told me about it, but once I am in the gym... I cant lift light. Its so hard mentally to get past for me. Anyway, you and Tunen are tearing it up.
Nice avi by the way, shredded as hell. :xyxthumbs:

I know exactly what you mean by not able to lift light. Todays session was actually too much work considered it was deload but it's just so god damn boring. I'd rather stay at home than going to the gym and do light weight/low reps.

Todays training was in the gym in my home town though. I only train with Jewnen and Nissen during the week. On weekends I train in another gym.

Does it feel like it helps though?

I'll find out next week ;)

But seriously it does help in a number of ways for me. The motivation and hunger for training heavy increases rapidly during the deload phase, and my strength is also better I feel and my joints (wrists and elbows) usually get a bit sore after 6-7 weeks of lifting so it's great way to give them some time off.
