Transformers: The Movie (no spoilerz)

I almost shed a tear when Optimus died, just like in the original cartoon movie. Sorry Pain Since a Transformers 2 is inevitable, what do you think Starscream is gonna do now that he has the Allspark and Bumblebee had his limbs blown off and is stranded in the desert?













Yeah, so...I just made all that up. Pain's sig said movie spoilers = ban, so I figured I would make a thread saying no spoilerz and making some crap up. Hopefully he hovers the thread first and gets pissed when he thinks he's seen the ending.

On a serious note, did any of you watch the show as a kid? I freakin' worshipped Transformers years ago, which is why I'm so pumped for this movie (going Thursday). Also, for those of you who have seen it... do you want a sequel to this latest film, and what new stuff would you want in it?

we were discussing movies, such as what time we were going to watch a movie.

btw I saw Transformers tonight

Overall on a 10 point scale I give it a 4, if it were the 4 star scale I'd give it 3/4 of 1 star.

Visually the movie was fantastic. With the company of Megan Fox, Rachael Taylor, and a bunch of shit blowing up it was easily a 10 visually. Michael Bay does an excellent job of this.

Plot wise, well, typical Michael Bay. I thought going into it that Speilberg would have made some sort of changes to what they'd like to call a script, but obviously not. The humor was confusing, it was like a child humors but yet they'd curse like they couldn't make up their mind on which audience they wanted to please. The "serious" side of things were over acted, over dramatized, and utterly catastrophic.

The movie was a large let down for me personally, but visually if you can't watch this movie then theres something wrong with you. Two hot chicks and shit blowing up, good times.

You really think Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are tied? Toy Story 2 was much better than the first, and the first one was pretty good.

Saw transformers too a few days ago. Script wise it sucked so bad it wasn't even funny. But maybe i was expecting too much since i practically grew up with the transformers.

Visually it has to be one of the best movies i've ever seen...starting with the stunning effects and ending with the incredible camera shots.
