I personally like all of kev smith movies, to appreciate clerks #2 , you should watch the first one, but Clerks is the first in many where Kev Smith uses the same actors to connect all of his movies.

I know you specifically asked Line but in the meantime I'll chuck in my 2 cents.

Typical Michael Bay films - overlong, overglossy, blockbusters with not an ounce of credibility in them.
However, I often like that sort of popcorn fodder and enjoyed both - but the 2nd one is too long.

Pretty much what I'd say. It's okay to "have fun" from time to time with movies like the first one but the second is a waste of celluloid.
