Thanks dude! Quads were kinda stiff but what the hell. Aint gonna get stronger from sitting on a couch whining :chesty:

The rack really fucked me over :ihavesandinmyvagina ! Should of used the power rack in stead. Dunno why I didn't... And the breaks were too short :chesty: And I have a cold :chesty: And I'm in a caloric deficit atm :chesty: And I whine too much :chesty:

Thanks guys.

To explain the singles-approach - The DL is very different from the squat and the benchpress in the sense that the eccentric phase of the lift is less important. Also, you don't get the chance to rely on pre-tension for the concentric phase. Therefore it makes sense not to focus on the eccentric phase and hence, not to rep much. To keep the volume high I do multiple sets. To keep the intensity high (IMO the whole point of this exercise in the matter of general-hypertrophic/hormonal-response) I keep the weight fairly heavy and accustomed to the rep-range (singles, doubles and triples).
