Not sure about that survival run anymore. My buddy had severe pain in his kidneys he went to the hospital for a check up and atm hes still there. Its his 4th day and the dokters told him they needed to operate his kidney because of an infection and kidney stones. So well see ho fast he can recover.

So whats your plan now..? Still training for the survival run or building mass again since this is a solid upperbody workout.

Yesterdays workout

I had the whole session planned. An upperbody session too see if it works and feels right all in favor for sprinting faster but when I came at the gym there was someone who had other plans. The gym owner asked me to train with him. Hes an old bodybuilder who like to go all out and all sets till failure. Since I wanted to start serious next week with my sprint program I thought why not join the man for a good workout. I seriously shoulnd have done that. I'm so damn sore today it isnt even funny. This is wat we did.

Chest/Back

Incl BP
10x30kg
8x40kg
8x50kg
6x55kg
4x60kg +2 forced reps till concentric failure

Seated Row
10x30kg
8x40kg
8x50kg
8x60kg
6x70kg
To be honest he gave me some good pointers to improve my technique

Dumbell Press
10x16kg
8x18kg
8x22kg
8x24kg
6x26kg again till failure

Lat Pulldowns
10x40kg
8x50kg
8x55kg
6x60kg last set he helped
4x60kg with 2 forced reps till failure
Again he gave me some good pointers

Hammer Decline BP
10x30kg
8x40kg
8x50kg
6x60kg
4x70kg +2 forced reps till concentric failure

Bent Over Row
10x30kg
8x40kg
8x50kg
6x55kg
4x60kg

Now it was time to spice things up, it was superset time

Decline BP - Flys - Dips
4 sets same weight all out reps till failure

Hammer seated row - Lat Pulldown - BOR
4 sets same weight all out reps till failure

That was intense and the weird part was I liked it very much. It sounds a bit like a beach boy but the pumped up feeling felt great. Along the way the guy gave me some good pointers you can really see hes very experienced. He lives for the sport an hes doing it for 30 years now. I wont be using his training styles but I will sure pay some more attention to my technique.
