Thanx all,

the only problem i have is that the paltes are not round, they are octagon, so when putting them down they dont always go straight. dammit

i had the same issue today. my gym has the rubber coated irop grip octagon plates. i had to keep adjust my feet before each dead when i set it down.

And I feel you on the octoweights. My gym has those and they're the absolute worst.

Today i did a upperbody session, went light, this is the last session that i will be doing before starting my 5/3/1 program on monday!


Only thin worth mentioning about the session

Flat dumbell press (LBS)
35x10
45x10
55x8
65x8
75x8
85x5
85x4, really thick handle on these dumbells, made them harder


Ez bar curls, 60lbs bar
10 wide
10 close
10 wide
10 close
8 wide
8 close, just enough rest in between for the burn to subside

I was planning to start my 5/3/1 program tomorrow, but i don't have any idea where my maxes stand as of today. So this week ill do the split like in the manual, but will try to find my 1RM, probably by doing sets of 3.

will be cool to see how u like the program. u could have used a one rep max calculator. that way u can determine ur maxes by typing in ur 10 rep max or whatever. just search on google for one rep max calculator:)

^^ I was thinking of doing that, but the manual says that u have to use the maxes you can do right now, so have to see what they are right now! i think i will have fun with the program and will later list my goals and extra's
