Good session except for one thing, since I changed my form slightly on the db rows, 45kg [99lbs] aren't enough anymore, so I have to go for reps instead..but thats ok for now I guess. I might change gym to a bodybuilding gym instead for this "giveoldfartsaheartattackgym"

That is a lot of volume, how is that working for you? Do you feel your getting growth from doing so many sets or reps? Or are you goals something else?

I just train and after a while I have done a shit load of stuff without thinking about it. Im going to change my training style in October with the start of my diet Im starting at the same time. Im going to go for 6-8reps per set with maximum weight I can move in a strict form. And maybe just 2 exercises, but presumably 3 exercises per bodypart.

I dont know if you have noticed it before, but In close to every set I do its a special figure. Its because I have a obsession to to that amount of reps or sets. And thats just like if I hit a wall with my right arm, I feel a ENORMOUS need to hit it with my left too and this apply to almost everything I do.....:wutyousay:

Bad news...

:no::no::no::no:

I was on my why to the gym today, before that I walked my dog.
And when I was about to lift him up to carry him up the stairs (dachshunds aren't suppost to walk up stair because of their long backs) I felt a sharp pain in my god damn hamstring...It cramped up basically..So I went to the doctor..and she said that I have pulled it.....AGAIN....:uhoh2:, and since I felt a sharp pain this time it's worse then before...nothing is torn thank good, but its really fatigued according to the doctor. And since I have a history of tearing stuff (rotatorcuff..quad and my knee..) and now two pulls in the same place its a tear waiting to happen. She recommended me FULL body rest :)crymeariver:) the remaining time of the year..............................................................................................................................................


Im bloody pissed off!

sorry to hear about your hammy DA. Wish you a speedy recovery and noone wants to see you get a tear.

Surely you can do at least some upper body stuff before the end of the year. :spy:

Thanks guys :tiphat: Yes I can do some upperbody work, but I have been told to have minimal strain on the left leg. And thats really limiting

A little update

My rehab is going good, no problems at all.
I have been walking this week without any discomfort.
Even though it gets tight as hell during my rehabtraining I started this Monday, which is a basic legcurl and some stretching without any weights.

The doctor said that my hamstring is recovering quicker then she first thought.
A 6-8 week rehab was a good initial goal according to her, but since my rather quick recovery she think I might be back in the gym after just 6 weeks with a little luck.

Im thinking about doing a "comeback" in the gym in the beginning of November to start training my upperbody again,and wait with the legs until late November early December since they are a strong point anyway, and there hasn't been anymore atrophy since the last picture I posted after the injury.
