^^ I'll still pull a 210-215kg deadlift, a 140-145kg bench, a 170kg ATG squat, a 115kg C&J and a 90kg snatch by the end of the year.

^^ It has only been running for 5-6 weeks. I've started to change some of the exercises (dips instead of skull crushers and OHP instead of pushups).

Nothing really wrong just not making huge in-roads. I'd say I probably am getting too close to 100% and not some easier 90% sets. Thus not really getting the volume in to get adaptation. That's why I've done multi sets at each weight above 80%.

great work man! don't worry about your OHP your strength should come back really quick! last time i fucked my rotator cuff (which is over a year ago, i had to take a month and a half of) went from shoulder pressing 225 back to 135 (for reps) and then like kaboom took me 6-7 weeks and i was back at regular strength

^^ I'm hoping so. I can't say I've done much OHPressing in the past couple of years. Mainly because I preferred doing it as DB's and I can only load those to a certain amount at home.

I have to say that the dips were a good change. Triceps definitely got worked without the elbow pain. Plus my biceps were fried. They have that not sore but should be sore feel to them today.

Lower body this arvo. Can't wait to squat :turborun:

^^ Gotta love Roxette. That album and Human Wheels by The Black Sorrows were the first two albums I got (on tape). Pearl Jam Ten was the first CD.

I've kinda burnt out on metal these last couple of days.

THe session took for ages due to those extra work sets on the C&J. I lost a third set forward on the 100kg. Got really deep under it on the jerk but was too far back. I'll have to practice this more as it got overhead so easily.

^^ I've done them twice :D

I need more "core" work and those fit part of the bill. Trying to fix my weaknesses. Realised today that quads would be a large part of that as my DE hasn't increased on that while it has increased on the others.

^^ Thanks Natzo.
The couple of sets of 100kg on the C&J were good, gets me in the zone to do more work at a higher level. The front squats are only travelling ok. I've added some weight to them but would like to be up to 140kg soon.

^^ Cheers Clint.

I'm waiting for someone to spot that the other video isn't even me, it is some Bible basher who fancies himself as the real deal.

My weights have improved, I've added about 10kg to the FSquat, Bench in ~6 weeks and about 15k to my deadlift. But I'd been expecting just a little bit more as my DE lifts have been more like 20kg improvements.

Lol@the gullible buggers who really believed the squat vids were you. I knew better, if wasn't wearing tights!

Have you considered throwing some band work into the mix with you DE movements? My reading has been telling me that its effectively like adding extra heavy work in and really trains you to produce that force at the start of the movement before the band tension gets to great.

I was looking at bands and chains as a training option. I'd sort of half decided on getting some chains. I was going to check out the hardware store and see what it would all cost and figure out how to hook it to the bar (I'd probably just use some rope). Bands would require some welding on my power rack, which just isn't going to happen at the moment.

I've also been thinking about making a sled to do some rope pulls (the sit down and haul a rope in), sled pulls, etc. Plus it could be fun.

Skipping
5mins (I do this every session but I'll start writing it in)

35kg x15x2

solid session dude:2: specially the chins are impressive. u do pullups? i feel the pullups works better for upper back and that the chins tend to overwork my biceps compared to my lats, but that may be a personal preference.

A lot of people just use those collar clips that most gyms use on their olympic bars.
